After 5 years I can say this was a fantastic buy. It has withstood the test of time. It is my favorite comforter it has been washed many times and it still looks and feels like it did when I got it. It is never too hot, it keeps you at just the right temperature and I live where it snows. I used to pile on blankets only to wake up hot. I use just this one I love it.

I love this duvet! I was a little reluctant since I read some really poor reviews, but I am so glad I bought it. I even bought another in a king for my bed. First of all, the duvet is really soft! It came in a very bright white and very clean. It didn't have a chemical smell or anything, which was part of my worry. Secondly, it really does look like the photo. It IS fluffy, but not overly so. It isn't super thick or heavy, so it will be good for all year. I was worried I would have to buy a separate one for a few months of the year... but that isn't an issue. I don't know what people expected as far as fluffiness.. it isn't too fluffy or too thin. Mine had a perfect amount of stuffing, and the stuffing was even throughout. Thirdly, the dimensions are spot on. My duvet cover fits over it very well, with very little room on either side. (My duvet cover is a weird size.) The duvet doesn't slip around or bunch up at all. Lastly, I haven't had a problem with the inside material getting all funky after washing it. It says it has box-stitching to prevent shifting, and it works well so far. I really do love this duvet. I couldn't be more happy with the price. I've purchased other, more expensive ones, and this one beats those by a lot. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice duvet. I can't see why people had issues with theirs, unless they received ones that were defective or something.

I bought 3 KingLinen White Down Alternative Comforters for 2 kings and 1 queen bed in our house. I really like the feel and weight of this comforter. It's light, doesn't bunch up and breathes well. It seems to be a good weight for Fall/Spring. I haven't tested it in the winter months of Wyoming but with a thicker duvet cover, it should be fine. The sizing of both the queen and king was accurate and fit our beds perfectly. I was worried that they would only cover the top of the bed like many comforters, but they hung over pretty well (about 1/3 of the way down) on both mattresses. If you want the look seen in the picture, you'll be out of luck with the king sized comforter as it isn't large enough to hang down that low on a king. If you have a queen sized bed, you can get the look by purchasing a king comforter which will hang over as shown. I paired these with the Nestl Soft Double Brushed Microfiber Duvet set and they work well together. The only reason that this comforter doesn't receive 5 stars from me is because of the corner tabs. Most good duvet covers and comforters have tabs and ties so that the corners can be secured to resist slipping inside the duvet. KingLinen's king sized comforter had the tabs present. The queen sized comforter did not. Fortunately the Nestl duvets I purchased had strings so that I could tie them around the corners of the queen comforter which seemed to secure it okay. Why not just include the tabs on all of the comforters? I don't understand this. It sure would have made things much better. All in all, these are nice, soft, comfortable comforters. For the price, you really can't go wrong! Hopefully the manufacturer will add the tie tabs on all of their sizes in the future. The picture included is the queen comforter inside of the Nestl Duvet on a queen sized bed.

I'm still in awe, over 2 years after getting this, that it cost only $35. This is hands down the best comforter or blanket I've ever experienced, anywhere. It's lightweight and just fluffy enough - never flattens out (has been in constant use for 2 1/2 years, and washed and dried dozens of times) - it gives me such joy to sleep at night. I have goose down pillows and have always loved them, but have had terrible luck with goose down comforters. When I ordered this, I didn't expect the quality to be so good. I live in Maine, and this comforter stays cool in the heat of summer and so warm but breathable in the winter. When we lost power for a few days and the nights were cold, we never noticed with this blanket. I'm a warm sleeper, I get overheated easily, so blankets have always been an issue for me. I have never loved a blanket as much as this. It stays cool, and it is so soft to the touch. My cats love it in winter. When I first ordered, I was reluctant because of the white color - I didn't intend on buying a duvet cover for it. I though it would become fairly dirty as some white things do. But no, it comes out white and clean from every wash (and have never needed to use bleach on it thus far.) I still can't get over the price. I know people with comforters they've spent hundreds on, that don't compare to the comfort of this. I want to shout it from the rooftops! Ah, for those of us that can afford $35 for a comforter, this is the only one you'll ever need to get. 2.5 years of nightly use with 2 little boys, 4 cats and myself, and not a tear/hole to be found. Buy it now!
