With its ultra-light 10 lb compact design (measures 6″ x 6″ x 12″), the QuikMelt 30 offers the best of functionality and portability. Includes a 30 Troy oz crucible, ring tongs, a digital control panel, and it rapidly heats to over 2200°F (1205°C) for all of your metal working needs. Equipped with 1500 Watts of power, a standard household plug, and exclusive RapidHeat technology, enabling full firing in as little as 8 to 10 minutes, the QuikMelt Pro is the ultimate tool for handling your projects. These kilns are designed with a lightweight, but extremely durable Gemcolite Alumina Fiber insert formed using a composition of alumina-silicate, alumina and multiple fibers and include both organic and inorganic binders for excellent handling strength and integrity at high temperatures. Please note that due to the nature of raw steel under extreme temperatures, the steel surface will experience tempering and coloration changes over time. 10, 60, 100, and 120 Troy oz sizes are also available and will include their matching crucible in ounces, plus a pair of tongs.
