I attached it to the front passenger seat and turned the face toward me so I could touch the start and stop buttons. Then I have a cable to the aux and the charger cord attached. This is a sturdy solution for vehicles. It fits snugly on the poles of the head rest as shown in the photo. It is easy enough that my kids (8yo and 11yo) can use it on their own, including adjusting the angle and position of the screen. I love that it's metal and the clips are secure. I'm a little conservative when it comes to car safety and fear that the kids' electronics could become projectiles. Most of the headrest mounts I've seen are plastic that don't feel secure. They seem like they would break easily if the vehicle was in an accident. This one does not feel that way. I am very satisfied with the price point and quality.
