This is a real tux costume coat, not a party store outfit. 6’-2”, 230, and the XL fits spot on, snug but correct. If I was 225 lb, less round in my mid section at the moment, it would actually be a perfect fit. If you are taller than 6-2, or over 230, depending on your build, you may be XL or XXL. It looks great, great costume garment, could hold up some active stage performances. If the vest like detail was not part of the coat, it could probably stand on its own as being a legitimate beaux tux tails like what they wore in the 2cellos Thunderstruck video. Because of this, you do need to plan for wearing this buttoned to keep appearance as two pieces when it’s actually all one piece.

I think of all the weirdly specific things I've never known I wanted? This has absolutely taken the cake. It's really sturdy feeling, has wonderful details and embellishments, and fits really really perfectly as described by the sizing chart. Get one. Get three all in different colors. They're lovely. :)

I am 6ft 2in tall, with medium build, I ordered the XL, as most of the time "L" is usually too short for me on most costumes, but this was not the case XL was too big for me, so I did a return and reordered the size "L" I received the new order the very next day, and this one fit perfectly. Note if you are heavy around the waist then I would recommend getting the XL, the sleeve cuffs on this do fold back and there is embroidery on the inside.

This jacket is much better quality than I expected, and looks great for live action Beast, or even a period piece (though I don’t know if it would pass authenticity). The lace is well-made and well attached. There is snag potential, but it’s lace. The fabric is sturdy, not stiff, and lays well. I had one problem with the button holes- they were not trimmed fully, so the faces of the buttons kept snagging. It was a quick fix though, just please be careful not to snip the seams. It is also heavier than expected. We anticipate it being very warm to wear. I’m a little worried about my husband wearing it to the summer wedding we need it for, but jackets can be removed. And for Halloween, it would be perfect in the fall weather. For a nice period piece, or a cosplay item, this is a great buy. Please ignore the laundry in the pics, lol We ordered an XL. My husband has broad shoulders, otherwise a L would have fit him just fine.

This coat far exceeded my expectations. You won't find better quality at this price point. I bought it for my wedding but I will definitely be wearing it for other events in the future. I am 5'-9" and 175 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. 10/10.
