This is a very nice Carbon Fiber paddle. it feels very nice and balanced in the hand, and comes very nicely packaged. the entire unboxing to handling the paddle seems very premium. I have not had the chance to actually use it in a game yet, as the weather has not been cooperative, but This will be my first carbon fiber one (i'm more used to the wooden and fiberglass ones) and can't wait to see what kind of spin action I can get on the ball when I try it out in game. I have read that you need to be somewhat skilled to use this paddle effectively, and I'm still somewhat new to pickleball, so I may not be the best judge from a profesional point of view, but I am pretty decent at the game, so perhaps I can learn how to use this well enough to be able to review its performance with an update. I realy like that it came with an eraser (had to look that up, it doesn't come with any instructions or anything, this is meant for Pros that already know what they are doing and know how to use everything) Thats the rubber block that comes in the package, you use it to keep the paddle clean so that you can keep the grip in the texture to put proper spin on the ball. This paddle is meant for intermediate to profesional players that want to be able to do fine mitculous control on the ball, particularly imparting controlled spin, to throw their oponent off in the game. If you are still learning the game, a fiberglass paddle is probably better to get started on, and then upgrade to this type of paddle later once you want to up your game and get better after learning the basics. For now i'm keeping my fiberglass paddle in my bag along with this one, until I get good at using it.

This paddle is fairly solid. Feels great in the hand - lightweight enough to get to where you need it quickly, solid enough to deliver solid returns or serves. Control feels pretty confident too - I haven't had any surprises while playing yet - the ball ends up where I hope it will more often than with some more entry-level paddles I got in one of those sets. Returns cross the net more easily with less input from me. I'll lean on this paddle for a while before I feel the need to upgrade, but as a fairly amateur pickleballer I expect that to be a while off.

The JbotSport Racquet is a very good racquet, and definitely worth $70. The racquet comes with a nice, soft padded zippered jacket. They also provide tape to adjust the grip, weights to adjust power and balance, and an eraser to keep its contact surfaces clean. In comparison with two other top quality (more expensive) racquets with hatched patterns, I think the contact texture of the JbotSport’s paddle area is not as abrasive. Depending on your skill, that might offer less ability to control spin. However, the racquet’s handle is about ½ longer, which makes it fit my large hand more comfortably than the other racquets. I note that a reviewer gave a picture that clearly shows a JbotSport racquet that is only 5 ½ inches wide. Not so with this JbotSport racquet! It is clearly 7 ½ inches wide … nearly 2 inches wider than the other racquet, which I think is an anomaly. If you receive a 5 ½ inch wide paddle from this purchase, you should return it for an exchange or a refund. For what it's worth: If I compare the dimensions of this JbotSport to the other two top quality racquets, the surface dimensions of their contact paddles are comparable. This JbotSport racquet’s dimensions were 7 ½ by 11 inches, which is ¼ inch less width, and ¼ inch longer … i.e. no significant difference! As mentioned previously, the only real difference is its longer grip.

I am loving this training paddle! Solid performance, comfortable grip, and really well made. Right out of the box it felt like something from a much higher price point. The packaging is clean and minimal, and the training paddle itself has that sleek, matte carbon fiber surface that you’d expect from premium brands. It’s lightweight but still solid. I feel like it’s helping make me a better player! The grip is great. It has a nice tacky texture and just the right amount of cushion without feeling bulky. I’ve used it to practice, but also in a few games. I’m still adjusting to the size. But once you get the feel for it, it responds really well and you start training yourself for more accuracy. Overall, I think this is a smart decision for players looking to step up their game, and the price point makes it an excellent value. I am going to buy one for my pickleball partner who keeps borrowing mine!

This is a wonderful paddle. I love the grip it chalkboard rough face. The sweet spot is wide and I am able to return many more volleys without shooting out of bounds. Control of the ball is a little tricky and the wider edge plastic is a little raised than I’d prefer but with adjustment it stays in the game - game after game to do a marvelous job.
