Very good value aftermarket part to replace the broken Ford driver's side door handle. Not much to say other than it fit perfect and took less than 15 minutes to replace and is one of the cheapest in terms of cost. If you have this broken handle problem, look up the work around while you are waiting to have your new handle delivered. You can open the door from the inside buy pulling on the broken door handle THEN also pulling on the door lock mechanism... handy if it's raining outside and you don't want to roll down the window to open the door using the outside handle. ... show more

My original handle lasted 8 years. The chromed plastic is bound to give up eventually. Replacements are $50 from my local dealer. This is the same chromed plastic that came from Ford for much cheaper. As others have noted, there are some edges that aren't as finished as the original. So, you may get scratched. I have not attempted to file or sand these, but you probably could. Also, the lock lever does not sit flush with the handle when you lock the car. You can push it in to make it flush. Overall, this is a cheap, easy, and quick fix. If they are going to put cheaply made parts in cars, then don't pay $50 for them! ... show more
