I’ve used duct tape for over 40 years, but this takes it to a whole new level. Just tearing a piece off requires a lot more effort than standard duct tape. I like that it comes white which I used to shore up a huge plastic storage container I use to store grain. This stuff is STRONG!

I find T-Rex Tape Heavy Duty Duct Tapes to presently be the best duct tape for the money in its class, at $9 for 1.88 in x 30 yards (0.30 per yard) versus Gorilla at $12.50 for 1.88 in x 35 yards ( $0.36 per yard) Both tear well both ways (make sure hands are not greasy, and rip fast) and I often save money by tearing its vertically. Both T-Rex and Gorilla are much sticker and stronger than regular duct tape or any other tape I have used, if not the absolutely strongest all-around tape, but in their price range I find both to be the best. I find Duck Max Strength Brand Duct Tape, 1.88 in. x 45 yd. fort $7.50 ( $0.17 yd.) to be the best all-around tape for the price, though it does not rip well vertically. . Just make sure surface is completely clean and dry, and press down firmly and uniformity for max. adhesion. And prices can vary. Thank God for competition. ... show more

I got fed up with the other duct tapes I had lying around the garage because they would peel and fall off. After doing some research, I decided to give this product a try, and I'm amazed at how strong the adhesive is. In fact, it's so strong that I sometimes have trouble pulling the tape out as it sticks to my hand and fingers. In terms of longevity, well after several months, it still holds!
