This is definitely a very tough and sticky tape. The web description says it will stick on brick. It does--for about an hour! I bought it to hold some 1/4" plastic tubing on the birck on my house. It held for about an hour--the surface wasn't wet when I applied it, and it was as clean as brick can be. I kept the tape since it will have other uses around my house, but no, it does not work on brick. I would not purchase again. ... show more

After breaking multiple expensive shovels during a particularly difficult project, I created a metal reinforced shovel using this tape. It worked perfectly, and as a bonus, it's actually MORE COMFORTABLE than the $70 shovel I used to make it.

I don't know what product people are using when they say this tape does not stick well. In my experience, it adheres very, very well. I haven't tried to remove it from anything (yet) but I would not like to try, because this stuff grabs on like it will never let go. I put it on some outside electrical wires that were starting to show sun damage, but it hasn't been on long enough to see how it stands up. This tape is quite thick / heavy duty. ... show more

this stuff is truly amazing. The window in my rear hatch, Ford escape is on hinges and one of the hinges broke and the window come sliding down at an angle but I was lucky enough to grab it in time. With some help I got it back in place and used the t-Rex tape to hold the rear window in place. It was over a month before I was able to have new hinges put on and have the job done right but the tape never let loose even in the pouring down rain and cold weather. Did leave some glue on the metal but that was easy to remove with some go be cone.The night I taped it up it was pouring down rain but it did not stop T racks from sticking and holding everything in place over bumpy roads. ... show more

While I can think of a lot of things to say about tape, I don't know if I have the passion necessary to write a truly in-depth review. As such, I leave you with this: If a friend asks me what kind of duct tape I like to use, I might just say, "Ehh, I don't really have a preference, whatever's around I guess, but I do have a roll of this T-Rex stuff that was cheap and as good as anything else I've used. I don't know if I just ran across a good deal on Amazon or what, though. Might wanna' check them out." I would be hard pressed to continue the conversation further. Any attempt by the other party to do so would most likely be met with the response, "Yeah... I don't really care about tape, though. Whatever works. Let's talk about something else." ... show more

It is pretty strong tape. I was concerned about removing it from the roll with arthritic hands, but it was doable. I wouldn't call it completely waterproof, but it is definitely water resistant, and worked well for my use where strength and water resistance were both necessary.

This tape is a good example of how marketing and not quality determines value. T-Rex is superior to Gorilla. Gorilla is a much more common and well known brand but T-Rex is much better tape.
