I have used Traumeel historically for many things, including inflammation and brusing that occurs during martial arts competition and training. Both the tablets and cream are extremely effective, particularly (in my experience) when dealing with nasty bruises and contusions. I've had an even more miraculous experience with this product recently, however, and it's what's driven me to review it. My 45# dog had a femoral head ostectomy surgery done. This is a pretty invasive surgery (at least by my definition!). She was put on NSAIDs by the vet, which seemed to help for the first two weeks (she was one hurting puppy if you missed a dose!), though she still moaned in her sleep. However, part way into the third week, she started having bad reactions to the NSAID (waking me up 15x/night to go to the bathroom, when she usually doesn't at all, diarrhea, drinking like a racehorse, incoordination). With a little research, I realized they were side effects from the NSAID, and stopped it. She started feeling better, but what could I do for the inflammation & joint pain? I'd seen a reference to someone using Traumeel for their dog after this surgery, so I ordered some up. I saw an OVERNIGHT difference in my dog's pain and discomfort. She's healing way faster than other dogs who I've seen have this surgery, and seems to have had minimal discomfort since I began giving it to her. Her pain and inflammation has decreased so much I have to watch out for her, and make sure she doesn't do silly things like leap off a 3' high porch, because she feels so good she isn't self-inhibiting as much as I feel she ought to. What a fantastic problem to have! I dosed her with 1 tablet in the AM, 2 in the PM (my thought process was less support during the day to keep her from overdoing it, and more support at night to help her sleep). She's happy and healing, I'm happy and not penniless (this is way less expensive than many available NSAIDs!) I'm not a vet, and won't recommend what you should/shouldn't do for your dog in his/her situation, but I will tell you this worked for me and mine!

I'm a convert: arnica works for pain. I did a more extensive, 5 star review, for the Boiron brand of this product which came in blister-packs in which you pop out tablets as needed. I'm not sure why but those seemed to be slightly more effective than these, which are loose in the bottle. Even still, these work and I do recommend them if you're trying to save money. I might even buy them again but will buy the blister packs if the price difference isn't that significant.

I use these for my dog and got him off prescription which messed with his mind. These work great - have recommended them to other dog owners and they all like them too. The vet told me about them a long time ago - this is the second dog to use them (big dogs with hip issues) and they help them sleep too - something must relax them as I can frequently get a full night's sleep now.

So glad I found something besides Advil. I don’t mind using OTC Ibuprofen every now snd then, but for headaches caused by messed up sleeping and neck pain, I was beginning to take them a little too much. I was worried about the future of my organs/stomach lining so began searching for homeopathic. Holy crap! This works! I went back and ordered extra strength once I found out it existed. Excellent on headaches, might require 2 rounds of full dose if pain is emanating from a muscular source that is actively creating pain. What I like is that it doesn’t just mask pain, it tries it’s best to activate your body so it can actually try and heal the source as well. I can’t believe I found a safe painkiller for general pain that I can freely use, but I did. Excited to see how much more potent extra strength is. I recommend taking this at any onset of pain you think will turn big rather than waiting. It nips it right in the bud and I swear it relaxes me too.

I took the pain relief today. I took 6 tablets because 2 tablets will not work. There were no adverse side effects. I will be buying more in October. I have been dealing with not having a lining in my bladder, this causes lots of pain and burning. If I am having a flare up the pain and burning is usually 2 to 4 times more painful.
