The ease of use of this rc car was quite impressive. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear that the designers prioritized a user-friendly experience. Setup was easy – just charge the included battery, install it underneath, and I was ready to roll. There is no need to sync the remote to the vehicle and it works out of the box. The controls are intuitive, making it accessible even for beginners who are new to the world of RC cars. Durability is a factor that I greatly appreciated in this car. It's clear that it's built to withstand some serious action. I've taken it through rough terrains, jumps, and even accidental collisions, and it has come out unscathed. The quality of the materials and construction gives me confidence that this car can handle whatever challenges I throw its way. A small detail that stood out to me is the additional battery that comes with the car. An extra battery is a great addition from the manufacturer that they could have decided altogether to not send at all to cut back on cost. It is those small details about customer satisfaction that really comes a long way. The car offers quite a respectable runtime on a single charge, ensuring that you get the most out of every session. The included charger is easy as the end it plugs into is a common USB-A connector, making it easy to plug into any wall AC adapter you may already have at home.

It would be a good RC car for the kids to learn on but the batteries die after 10 min of play.

So far, it has stood up to light use over 6 mos, with the following exceptions: Both included batteries needed to be repaired within the first week. The soldered tabs came off and had to be resoldered. Kids played very intermittently with it and the batteries sat for a few months unused. Now their capacity is poor. The truck has low power, even with fully charged batteries, compared to when it was new. Six year old now thinks the truck is too slow. I will try to cycle the batteries on a microprocessor controlled pack charger to see if they improve. Tires sometimes roll off the wheels when turning. There are no differentials. The front and rear axles appear to have separate small motors (definitely not 540 sized as per the description). I might try to glue the tires on. Screw on battery door stripped easily. I upsized the screw to a 3mm x 0.5 thread, as the door is too weak to use without a screw. Update- the seller contacted us with a request to make things better- i.e. a refund of the sales price in exchange for an updated review. Well, the tires work better when glued on. I purchased 4 Sanyo cadnica cells which I will wire into a pack. I expect the performance will improve. The cheap batteries are the downfall of any rechargeable RC toy at this price, one can’t expect high quality cells (the 4 Sanyo cells cost about 40% the cost of the whole car). So, I suppose considering price of this toy, it’s probably worth 4 stars considering it still works at 9 mos, but don’t expect durable batteries at this price. A better solution would be if the toy took individual AA cells, for which one could run NiMH cells and charge them properly.

These affordable little cars are just what I was looking for: an experiment to see how much the kids enjoyed them and took care of them. At the low price they were selling for I was able to get one for each of the three children and they all work as advertised. The battery swapping is a little technical for children with the little plastic parts and wires so I have taken all of that upon myself to keep everything from breaking. a Big upside to these is the 4wheel drive. they are not super fast but very fun! I would say the downside besides speed is the battery longevity. One and a half years later, out of the 6 batteries the 3 cars came with, 2 of the batteries are unable to charge, and all of the others have significant run times. I didn't expect them to last for the price however. All three cars are still working to this day and 4 of the 6 batteries still have them going for a few minutes per charge. TLDR: Great for the price, don't expect the batteries to last without careful managing.

This is a nice RC car, good control, good grip on tires, my 18mo loves it. I know they are technically not for kids under 3 but I’m always around when he plays with it so I keep an eye on it. He loves chasing it while I control it. The batteries don’t last very long but they provide two of them so that one can be charging while the other is in use.
