Good!

Awesome wire, pretty slow on charging while using it but i wasn't expecting this to charge my Quest 2 100% while using it. It charges pretty well while in use actually and the data transfer was good even at 16ft. worked well for 6 years and now looking to replace it cause i manhandled this one. Purchased the Syntech 16FT Link Cable in 2023 for my Oculus Quest 2 and this is a great link cable for the price. Got this on sale for $17. The Link Cable is amazing as it is just plug and play and the length is perfect. It is budget friendly and a better alternative to the Meta Link Cable ($80). The build quality is good and durable. However, the cable is not very flexible. The charging speed is slow, but the link cable does fit, and it stays secure. It also comes with a small sticker which is nice to put on the VR Headset. It functions well, with little issues. Works as intended too, I can play Steam VR and other games as well. Connects well to my PC with little lag. The only issue with this cable, is sometimes I do get connection issues, sometimes it doesn't connect to my PC, or the game is slow or lagging, but this happens rarely. Overall, the Syntech Link Cable is an amazing product so far. It connects well with little issues, and it has the perfect length when gaming, just a little slow. This is a better and cheaper alternative to the Meta Link Cable. I recommend this. ... show more

Solid Long Cable for PCVR — Great Value for Meta Quest Link Use
Color: White Size: 20ft
I bought this Syntech 20FT link cable to use with my Meta Quest setup for PCVR gaming, and overall it’s been a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the official cable. The 20-foot length is a huge advantage and the white color matches my VR headset perfectly. It gives you enough room to actually move and play without feeling restricted or constantly tugging on the PC connection. For seated or standing VR setups, that extra slack makes a noticeable difference in comfort and immersion. Build quality feels good for the price. The cable has some weight to it (as expected for a 20ft USB cable), but it still remains flexible enough to manage during gameplay. I didn’t experience any immediate connection issues when plugged into a proper USB 3.0 port, and it held a stable connection during normal VR sessions. Data transfer and responsiveness have been solid. In PCVR use, games loaded and ran smoothly with no obvious lag or stuttering when the connection was stable. It performs like a proper USB 3.0 link cable should when your PC setup is compatible. One thing to be aware of is cable management. Because of the length, it’s easy for it to get in the way or add drag if you don’t route it properly. A ceiling pulley or clip system would make a big difference if you plan to move around a lot in VR. Also worth noting — like many long link cables — performance can depend heavily on your USB port and PC configuration. I had the best results using a direct motherboard USB 3.0 port rather than front-panel connections. Overall, this is a strong budget-friendly option for PCVR users who want long-cable freedom without paying official accessory pricing. It gets the job done well as long as your system is set up correctly. ... show more

Does Not Work With Quest 2
Color: White Size: 16ft
Upon opening and first using the cord it worked for hours but after using it once when I went to plug it back-in I got met with "You have been disconnected from your PC, Unplug and reinsert the link cable to continue using meta link" or something like that. So I did and didn't think much of it and the connection continued to work. Then that same message continued to pop up constantly on my second day with this cable. Then my device on the quest app said my device had an issue, then the entire app on my pc froze and had to run self diagnostics to fix itself and after trying to fix it for like two hours I had no luck and was stuck in the same loop. Which led me to look at the one star reviews on here of this cord and wouldn't you know it, everyone with a one star review has the same issue or worse. So after doing more research I would only recommend buying the Oculus branded $80 meta link cable unfortunately. I say this because not only will it guarantee compatibility but any third party cord is not covered by your Quest's warranty and if it were to damage your quest you would be out of luck. Also I see this issue is common with third party type C to C cables as well. The Oculus link cable is type c to c though so if you are looking for a type A to C then I am not sure what your best bet is. I'm sure their is a solution but it is definitely not this cord! I forgot to mention I know my motherboard ports and I had this in a 3.2 Usb Port like it requests and like I said it worked for hours then it just shut down on me when I went to reuse it after having to charge my headset as this cord does not charge it at all and that's when the problem got worse and worse to the point I tried every port on my pc. I don't know what Mark did to lock down the market for this device to only work with his $80 Cord but Kudos. Will be returning this product for that one, hope this helped! ... show more
