We have tried a few of these and they do have a strong fragrance. Ours lasted through two showers so about 15 to 20 minutes total. I did notice that 2 hours after the shower, I could still smell the steamer when I went into the bathroom and our bathroom is 8 x 15 ft, not a small space. We had another brand of these and could not smell them unless you were within a foot of the steamer so these were a huge improvement over the previous brand. Nice gift box set if you want to give them away. I am not sure about aromatherapy but they do have a pleasant scent.

As far as shower steamers go, these are okay. They are a little on the small side and last about 7 minutes so long as they aren’t in the direct stream. They dissolve nicely and don’t leave a residue, but you will notice the color as it’s dissolving. It has a nice variety of scents and my kids really like the little dried botanical bits pressed into the steamer. The variety of the scents is nice and they smell strong when you open the box and unwrap them, but they aren’t very strong in the shower. I would prefer for them to have a bit more scent. One of the best things is the claw thing to open the plastic wrapper. I will definitely be keeping that long after the shower steamers are all used.
