I received my TV on June 19th - delivery time was average but it is a large heavy TV. When I installed it I was impressed with the picture quality - I hooked up an Amazon 4K firestick and it works great. I had no problem setting up my Wi-Fi network. The TV remote seems heavy duty and weather proof. The wall I mounted to on my uncovered patio is always in partial shade - so I turned down the brightness and the picture looks great. Due to the fact the speakers are protected and the sound comes from the bottom of the TV - I recommend getting a sound bar but if you don't have one right away the sound seems fine. I did use their customer service for a minor replacement part - they were fast to ship it out to me and it did not affect me hanging my TV to the wall mounts. All in all - very good TV for the money - I recommend it! ... show more

After a couple of weeks my TV turned on but didn't display any picture. The TV probably got knocked around during shipping and finally gave out shortly after setup. I did purchase an extra warranty through Amazon just in case! I went straight to Sylvox instead of Amazon just so they could be aware of the issue. They corresponded swiftly and I had a replacement within 2 weeks. They also provided a return label and I reused the box the new one came in. The TV uses Android/Google TV so all of the apps we currently use in the house are available. At one point, one app wouldn't download "app not available for current version of your software" or something similar. Just restart the TV and try again that seemed to fix it. The remote works well and was easy to connect via the initial TV setup menu. The TV menus are responsive and snappy. Bluetooth and wifi setup were both seamless. You can also connect it to a BT speaker, but keeping it connected all the times seems tricky. It's probably a fight between the BT speaker and the TV and a few other devices as well. The box also comes with a variety of mounting bolts if needed. A wall mount is NOT included. However, the mount you buy separately will also come with some bolts. The TV's enclosure is solid and quiet. The original TV I bought on Amazon had a loud fan noise, but this replacement unit directly from Sylvox is completely quiet. They said they had updated the design and removed the fan noise entirely, GOOD MOVE. My original purchase from Amazon didn't have any physical buttons (that I could find) to operate the TV. This replacement from Sylvox has a set of buttons on the side in case you cannot use the remote. The audio leaves a bit to be desired, but I find the MEDIA setting to have a good balance between speech and base. More often than not, you will use your own independent speaker, but it's not horrible otherwise. Keep in mind that the sounds is enclosed in the case so don't expect living room quality. I've got my TV mounted under an oak tree in a partial shade situation and it's been awesome to use. I'm using it as the screen in my golf simulator and it's crisp clear and very easy to see in the outdoor light. I did have a problem with the first TV's backlight not always working, but Sylvox support came through and sent a replacement without having to send the TV back first, saving me a bunch of down time. ... show more

For the price, you would love to believe you are buying a great working product. My Sylvox 55” Deck Series came packaged well, remote setup was easy and seamless. However there are a few things, that you think the folks would have seen as glaring issues before releasing this product (unless they are so evil that they only want you to purchase their $700 sound bar and their overpriced mounting hardware). First the bar spacing for the back mounting. The mounting holes are inconveniently 24” apart. I bought a mounting kit for outdoor mounting on uneven surfaces, and low and behold that 24” gap prevented it from being hung on the bracket bars. THE SOUND is horrible! For the price, this should be no issue, there are plenty of outdoor speakers that are waterproof that sound great, heck, my iPhone has some waterproofing and it doesn’t sound like this. The audio sounds like it’s being played out of a coffee can. The fact that it sounds so horrible seems intentional. When I purchased the TV I figured if it was an issue that I could connect my Bluetooth speaker (since the TV has Bluetooth). Can you? NOPE! It appears the TV deliberately doesn’t pickup BT Speaker signals. Do you need the $700 Sylvox speaker? No, you can use any audio speaker with the headphone jack, but, this is 2024, not 2004. I cannot imagine, being the CEO or even the Quality Assurance team at Sylvox and being okay with releasing such a poorly sounding product. Yellow Tinted Screen Edges: When playing at night time, you can very much see yellow/green tinting around the edges of the entire screen when the scene is dark. It makes it appear cheap and poorly made. I’m so much invested in this TV now, that returning it would be such a headache. But had I known what I know now, I would have never ordered it. It may be waterproof but at the expense of super unusable sound and poor image quality, I should have just gotten an indoor tv mounted to a cart that I could wheel inside when the weather got bad. ... show more

If you need an actual outdoor rated TV, this is a great value. It arrived with great packaging which was surprisingly easy to unbox. TV is very solid and has a very bright picture even for a partial sun model. NOTE: We have it in a covered screened in porch and it works great. No issues with heat/cold. We did have a problem with the remote when it arrived, but Sylvox support was very responsive, quickly did some troubleshooting, and then immediately shipped out a replacement remote which paired and worked perfectly. I would highly recommend it for the quality product and outstanding and responsive support which doesn't seem to be common anymore. ... show more
