    • (Almost) Complete Kit for Side Marker/Turn Signal

I got the version with white marker and amber sequential turn signal. The package includes everything you need to make the lights work, including the wire taps. Other consumables I used for the installation that weren't included with the kit were zip ties, electrical tape, and alcohol wipes for cleaning the surface for adhesives. The wires are plenty long enough. It seems like one of the frequent complaints for similar products happen to be how short their wires are. Not with this one, because they are over 12 inches in length--complete overkill, but it's better to have extra than not enough. I used some zip ties to keep the excess wires from dangling all over the place. The included wire taps aren't the highest quality. They're cheap midline wire taps splicers. They work, but you'll have to make sure the wires are correctly crimped. One of the lights didn't work, until I crimped the ever living crap out of the tap that splices into the ground wire. Nevertheless, it's good that the kit came with them since I didn't feel like going for a trip to the nearest auto parts store. Someone mentioned in the reviews that their lights suffered from condensation that eventually led to failures. The opening where the wires come out of the light housing is sealed with RTV, so it's unlikely the water is seeping in through there. The only other culprit I can see is through the seams on the outside, as I couldn't locate any opening (aside from the sealed hole where the wires come out of) on the inside. I squirted some Surface Shield to create a moisture-repellent barrier. ... show more

I ordered the switchback model. If I did it again, I would order the turn signal-only version as I see no need for bright white side markers or side running lights. The turn signals are great though. If only they would include instructions that actually provided the wire colors that match the vehicles wiring harness, these would be a solid 5 stars! ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased two sets of these for my wife and I. We both have Jeeps. I installed these on mine tonight. Very simple install. I ran them as side marker lights and did not use the turn signal function. The quality appears to be good and everything lines up nicely. All lights work at this time. Life of light review. Easy install worked great loved em. Until. 4 months let water in so lower lights went out, no biggy still loved em. Now 10 months in both "both" sides the covers have rotted at base. I noticed one was almost off and other was loose. Tried to make it home to figure something out and lost a cover on road. They dry rot due to heat i guess. Ill be trying other model now and hope fore better luck. If you get these seal them w silicone to prevent water and hold covers after bottom of covers rot. ... show more

Love these lights! Also have to give a shout out to their support team- the driver side light was the white only instead of the amber. I reached out to customer support since my window on Amazon had closed (got them on sale in January but was onlynable to get them installed last week due to New England weather). They sent replacements out the next day and I had them the day after that. I've had the lights for around 9 months. But, they have only been installed for closer to 3 months (procrastination won that battt!). The running lights are bright and the sequential signals look great! A bit of a pain to install if you don't remove the whole fender. They fit perfectly in the factory location. Unfortunately, the passenger side just quit working today. Double checked the wiring just to be safe, but unfortunately the issue must be with the light itself 😔 At this point I'm wishing I would have spent the extra $$ and went with a known brand name. ... show more
