Very good quality for the price. It's super adorable/fun and fit my child with room to grow. My child is 13 months and this was super comfortable on him he is approximately 25 pounds. It kept him afloat and he was not scared of it.

Build Quality: The swim vest is well made and durable. The stitching is well done and doesn't have any missed portions or loose threads. The zipper operates well, there is a fold over velcro strap to help secure it. The leg strap has a "stop" to prevent it from coming free from the slider buckle. Size: The sizing is correct for up to 4T. Comfort The vest is comfortable- We had no complaints on wearing it. Swim- able The vest is good for those trying to start swimming and allows good floatation at a horizonal position needed for swimming. Not a life vest? As the warning indicates, this is not a life vest. I states on the vest and packaging "This is not a life-saving device" Do not leave child unattended..." All approved life jackets should contain a statement that it is approved, with an approval number. There is no such text on these jackets. Maybe that's OK? -- This is a good swim vest. For a swim vest a high level of buoyancy isn't required, I find this vest is pretty buoyant but mainly in the trunk area to assist keeping a good swimming position rather than a focus on buoyancy around the shoulders to keep the head out of water. I picked up for my son to use at the pool. He's on the upper range of the weight limit and it's still plenty sturdy for him. It's slimmer than most vests, which he likes as it makes him feel more independent and comfortable when playing. I appreciate the lack of bulk in the swim bag and ease of travel with it. It works great in a pool setting, but I personally would want a sturdier vest for boating, in the ocean, etc. This is truly a "pool" vest in my opinion.` ... show more
