This is a very sturdy product. Great quality. The only downfall is that it does not have an anchor. And moves around making it very difficult to play. If it had a weight and could be in the center of the pool, we would have used this a lot more then we did.

It's very durable for an inflatable. It's made of fairly heavy weight vinyl. My oldest son and his 2 sons LOVE it! They play with it in my pool every weekend. The inflator that comes with it is too small, but I bought a better one locally, hand operated like a hand bicycle pump, that inflates on both the up and down stroke; it inflates the Hoop Shark reasonably quickly (it inflates in 4 compartments). It has a small ring on the bottom through which we have run a cord so we can anchor it with 2 milk jugs filled with water. It's IMPORTANT that the Hoop Shark be anchored so that it does not rub against anything and rub a hole. Because the Hoop Shark can drift a small amount, they have discovered that it's not as easy as they thought it would be. And still they love it. Oh, the basketball is made of basketball material (making it super durable) but is smaller in size. ... show more

Purchased this for my nephews visit, they’re 17 & 14. Once pumped up, it’s pretty large! The boys enjoyed playing ball, but I did notice it was pretty difficult to get a basket. Seems heavy duty, and had no trouble standing up to two rough teenage boys. Definitely need to deflate for storage in between use because of the large size. ... show more

I had a non-inflatable model prior to ordering this one and did not realize how much bigger this one is. My fault for not checking the dimensions and making assumptions. The kids are loving this thing. It doubles as a floating island/escape pod in their games. Certainly looks like it will last all summer and I will likely buy again, if necessary. ... show more

My son loves it! We jump off the side of the pool for slam dunk competitions. Inflating with air pump gets enough pressure to shoot the ball and hold form. Wind blows it all over the pool so we weighted it with a bungee cord and dumbbell to keep in the same space.

Made with good material and very sturdy. I could tell instantly this wasn’t made from cheap material and it was going to be durable. Family loves it. Only suggestion is the ball that comes with it is more like a kickball material and size and was hopping for more like a basketball design
