Over the last 20 years I've had 4 different poolside basketball goals. Each one had a common problem - every time the ball hit the backboard the backboard would twist and the angle would change. Extremely annoying! This is the first goal that does not do that. It just works and all the kids and grand kids had a blast playing pool basketball. The design of the goal makes it extremely stable and trouble free. As an added bonus, I was able to assemble it in 5 minutes which included filling the sides with water. Ordered this for a Summer Party this Saturday to start the summer off! The kids love it. It doubles as a float with a dome! I took a pic with a standard size beach Ball next to it to give You and idea of how big this is! Btw, I suggest getting a pump - we use our mattress air bed pump, and I take a small plastic kitchen funnel (can get at a Dollar store) and insert it into my floats with the pump blowing into it!     • I was amazed at how easy it was to put together

After reading some of the reviews I almost didn’t buy this item. Several reviewers said that it was junk and couldn’t be put together. I decided to take a chance and order it. I was amazed at how easy it was to put together. It took me under 5 minutes to assemble it ! Then it took me another 5 minutes to glue it. I have a doughboy pool so I just dint like the idea of putting anything with metal screws in it in my pool. I used clear PVC glue and it worked like a charm. I play with this toy every time I am in the pool. I love it. I would note however that I think I know why people may have problems assembling this item. There are 6 “T” connectors, 3 of them are rounded and 3 of them are flat. The instructions DO NOT show this. So you have to be smart enough to recognize that the rounded ones go on the top circle (smaller diameter) and the straight ones go on the bottom ring. If you do not place them in the proper place then you will NEVER get this put together. ... show more

I was not expecting so many different spots to blow this up (3, 4 if you count the basketball) but it makes it very sturdy. Just a warning... It can hold a good bit of weight. My 10 year old uses it as a ride on toy sometimes to play bumper cars in the water with his brother lol

Hours of fun. We've been using this for a few weeks now and it's held up very well, our 4 kids aren't gentle with anything. I would highly recommend it! Our biggest problem was the ball flipping out of the pool when we missed, went out and bought a few more play balls and the fun continues.

This was an impulse buy from the Treasure Truck. I didn't pay much attention to the size and it is at least 3 times larger than I expected. It's maiden voyage consisted of 9 kids climbing and jumping on it, as well as up to 6 at a time riding on it. No one thought it would survive the day but it handled it like a champ. We once had a solid frame floating basketball hoop and that was great fun. Sons have grown up and it had to be retired. Now the 6-year-old grandson loves basketball and had had a blast this summer using the inflatable hoop - lots of 1-on-1 playoffs in water! DO take it out of the pool when you are done with it. A slight gust of wind blew it into the neighbor's yard, while we were still in the pool. Fun to watch it blow in the wind, but not fun if it had blown away! ... show more
