Got her this and she is able to swim by herself (we are near by obviously). It’s honestly taught her how to move around and use her arms/legs. It’s comfortable for her. I will say if your child isn’t super balanced or doesn’t know how to keep themselves upright, this may not be the right fit for them. It does take a little practice and effort for them to maneuver around without flipping.

We got this for our two year old son. He's been dying to swim without being held. He's still learning to swim but this definitely gave him confidence to jump and swim solo. It took some getting used to but he can now float and turn back over when he flips backwards. Its comfortable enough and sturdy. This was worth the buy.

I made this purchase for my 2 year old son for his birthday. This specific vest helped stabilize my son in the pool and really made him feel very confident when learning how to swim and become more comfortable in the pool. This has to be the best for my toddler. He loves the pool and this gave me comfort knowing he was going to float. It also helps them learn to swim. Life jackets are just too much of a floatation device that it kept going up to his face and bothering him. This sits comfortably on him allowing him to swim more freely. Definitely recommend to moms!

I have two of these in use this year. The same one has fit ages 3 to 6 with no problem. Having enough support on the chest has given the kids confidence in the water without need for a tube. Of course adult supervision is always needed at the pool, but these little ones jump in wearing these, or go down the slide and pop right up. They have learned to “swim” the length of the pool by themselves wearing these, by mostly kicking under water. Children should always get swimming lessons at some point, but if they have not learned to swim yet, they can still enjoy some independence wearing this. Parents and their kids enjoy the pool more now!
