My son loves SweetSpot bats! I got him this one to give to him for his birthday next month. He loves to decorate them with colored grip tape and cut out designs. He also has a wiffle ball field at home and is on a travel ball team, so he and his friends give the bats lots of workouts and SweetSpot holds up well. It's a pretty solid bat - lightweight, yet strong. This particular bat is 30" which is good for pre-teens and young teens (a good guide is age 10 -11 use 28 inches to 30 inches, and age 12-13 use 29 inches to 32 inches. The ball is harder and heavier than a plastic wiffle ball.

These are fun backyard bats but ours arrived slightly misshapen and curved. It's not like my son is in a pro whiffle ball league so we didn't send it back, but someone missed the quality check on it and we wouldn't buy another online.

Wow. My kids love wiffle ball and play for hours, but this set really takes the cake in terms of realism. The bat feels real, carrying a little extra weight, big barrel, and really nice grip. The ball is incredibly real and doesn't feel like cheap plastic at all. The seams even feel real! You can't get ball movement like you can with a true wiffle ball, but if you're trying to practice on more common pitches then this set is great for practicing. However, I'd be careful as this ball feels like it won't bounce off a window as well as a more common wiffle ball. Great practice tool or for realistic and safe play in the backyard. Highly recommend.
