    • Amazingly Light and Stiff! Great Paddleboard!
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: I was amazed by this awesome paddleboard. Having only paddled on solid boards int the past, I was a bit skeptical of the inflated style. Boy was I surprised when I filled it up by just how stiff it was!! A 200-pound person was suspended in the middle without the board bending. Looks awesome and has the perfect shape and features to compete with solid boards. Came neatly boxed up in a surprisingly small package. All accessories were included. The backpack will store all of the equipment in one simple bundle. Unboxing was graced by a strong chemical smell from the vinyl and plastic parts. All parts were carefully wrapped. QUALITY: It's smooth, stiff, and yet soft to stand on. The vinyl is a perfect balance of thick yet supple, providing great strength but ease of folding/storage. Has pre-installed deck foam pads over the back 2/3. The front is smooth, but has the bungees for stowing gear. It holds its shape perfectly, and has a smooth bottom for minimal drag and maximum speed. The three handles are reinforced and padded. The paddle is stiff and light with a comfortable textured t-handle grip. WEIGHT: It's very light! It weighs about 1/3 as much as a solid board. And with the backpack to carry it, it's super portable and convenient. FEATURES: - 3 Quick-connect fins with lanyards to hold the locking clips. - Convenient padded handles are installed at the ends and in the middle. - Bungees are attached for stowing gear. - Double-action pump with pressure gauge pumps air on the up and the down strokes. Casual pace pumping filled the board in under 2 minutes. You could probably do it in under a minute if you want a short cardio workout while you burn out your arms. - Interchangeable t-handle or double-ended paddle is included with quick-release clamps that hold securely and allow fast assembly/disassembly. - Backpack for carrying and storage - Repair kit with 2 matching patches, cement, and carrying case (to protect the cement tube from being crushed or leaking on the folded paddleboard) - Valve tool included as well (for removing or tightening the air valve IMPROVEMENTS: - The instructions say to not inflate over 12PSI, but the inlet valve is labeled with a limit of 15PSI. I stopped at 9.5, and it was already stiff enough, so I'm not sure it matters. But having consistency and clarity would be nice. - The outer fins (there are three) point inward slightly (toe-in), which will increase drag a little. The trade-off is slightly more responsiveness to turning, so it's up to you to decide if you want to install them or leave them off. - The backpack has no structure (though the folded-up board and segments of the paddle provide plenty of stiffness. - The backpack has only shoulder straps, no waist belt. So, even though it's really light overall, expect to feel the weight on your shoulders, especially on longer hikes. Also, wear a shirt to avoid rubbing your shoulders raw. - Sharp corners on the removable fins could puncture other parts, so I recommend rounding those off with a file or grinder before first use or storage. - Paddle is not buoyant! Consider these three methods of adding buoyancy. 1) Insert some "closed-cell foam backer rod" (like the Armacell available here on Amazon) inside the handle tubes to keep it from sinking when dropped. 2 Tie a large float to the handle (this also adds bright color to find it easily) or 3) Slide an extra-large pool noodle over the handle before assembly. - Paddle is black: consider adding bright color or reflective decals to make it easier to find when dropped. Also, a lighter color will keep it from getting as hot in the sun. CONCLUSION: It's as good as any solid paddleboard. Don't think that "air-filled" means cheap or flimsy. It has the advantages of being lighter, more portable, and cooler to the touch than traditional boards. Did I mention cheaper? It's a great investment that won't clutter your garage wall, kill your gas mileage, or break your back walking to the water. It's performance with minimal trade-offs and no compromises. The included paddle could use a few improvements (see above), but it's pretty good right out of the box. First off, let's be honest, the thought of an inflatable SUP used to make me a little nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and stable this board felt once inflated. It's definitely not your flimsy pool toy! Setting it up was a breeze. The included pump did its job quickly, and I was on the water in no time. The 2-in-1 paddle is a clever touch – you can adjust it for SUP or kayaking, which gives you some nice versatility. Now, for the fun part: paddling! The wide, stable design makes it easy to balance, even for a beginner like me. The non-slip deck is a lifesaver, especially when you're trying to find your footing. I felt confident and comfortable right away. In my family we have several paddle boards. The Sweetcrispy board was a bit cheaper, price wise, than the others but is every bit as good. It comes with everything you need to hit the water and has a repair kit that hopefully you will never need. The board itself is well made and very sturdy. It has front, center and rear handholds to carry it and is light enough it is easy to carry while inflated. It also has something the other ones we have don't and that is a multifunctional paddle. You can stand up and use the single head paddle or convert it to a two headed paddle so you can sit and paddle it like you would a kayak. I really like that feature. There board deck is comfortable and slip resistant. It also comes with a nice backpack to store it in and carry it to where you will be using it. I got the blue one which is like an aqua blue and I like the color. This is a nice board and a good value. While they do give you a manual pump to inflate the board it takes work, lots of work. You will hate it not only on this board but on any inflatable board. I immediately got a portable battery powered air pump which saves lots of work but also helps to fully deflate the board which makes it easier to store the board in the carrying back pack. This paddle board works well and is a lot of fun to use. This paddle board comes with everything you need to set it up and go out on the water. We got this to use at our pond and it is quite fun. It was easy to inflate and is pretty easy to handle. The paddle board is quite compact so you can bring it with you in a regular car without needing a roof rack or anything. We've always thought about getting a paddle board, but never used one so this was a more inexpensive way to try one out to see if we like it.     • Complete kit. Board is solid, feels like fiberglass when inflated. Hard to believe.
It's hard to believe these are as solid as they are when inflated, but it works. It's hard to get it back to the original size after use, but if you can just roll it up gently and store it that way it should last a long time.
