As other reviews have stated, this desk was well packaged and easy to assemble. it took me about an hour to assemble by myself, and I was being careful not to damage parts or strip any screw heads. The top comes in 2 pieces of laminated particle board. It is also thin, around13mm (.5 inches). I was aware of this before purchasing. But if I did not know this, then it would be a disappointment. Although the seam is visible after assembly, It doesn't affect usage of the desk. After plugging in, to test the rising functionality, the right leg stuttered. It seemed like the gear was slipping but it corrected itself and continued to raise fine. It's been working fine since. I attached a dual monitor arm mount and an under desk cable organizer and it has no problem supporting the weight. The rising/lowering motion is very smooth with moderate humming noise from the motor. The speed is good; not too slow, not too fast. There was one time that I had pressed my preset to lower the desk when I was under the desk to watch the motor. When I realized that it might drop or damage some other equipment on the top of the desk, I reacted by pushing and lifting the desk. This interrupted the the motor and caused it to stop. An error code displayed on the lcd, but at least no damages were made. This is a good safety measure to know about. I reset the controller and all was fine. I've had this desk for about 2 weeks and for the price, I'm very pleased. I would give it five stars if it wasn't for one irritation. I sometimes brush my knee on the motor under the desk because of it's size and mounting orientation. This doesn't happen often, mostly when I'm slouching in my chair and my legs extend further under the desk. I will probably add some foam around the motor so I don't hurt my self. Overall it's a great desk. It's easy to assemble, raises/lowers well, sturdy frame, good initial quality. Time will tell how well the motor will last, but at this price point I am happy with this desk.

I have had this desk for about two weeks now and I love it. Very easy to put together and have a good amount of space to work on. I did notice there was a knick in the side of the wood panels that I need to cover with something which was unfortunate. You can see it in the photos. I decided to keep it instead of returning it because I had already assembled most of the desk before noticing it, It's not so large it's unusable and I can easily cover it. I noticed some of the other reviews state the same issue. Great desk overall minus the slight damage to the panels.

The desk is nice and easy to assemble especially for the money. Unfortunately their packaging is terrible and any rough handle causes damage to the desk. We bought 2 of them and they both have the same damage. Unfortunately, my daughter and I are both working from home and needed them immediately so having them replaced wasn't an option, plus no guarantees it wouldn't happen again. We can live with the damage, it's just unfortunate.

Good looking, solid desk - easy to build BUT the attached picture was about 4 hours into my first day and somehow it chipped. I only have โoffice workโ items on my desk so I cannot imagine what actually caused the chip, but thatโs not a good sign. Itโs dead center of the desk, closest to me - and itโs day one. Aside from that, desk looks good, feels sturdy, was easy to put together and the motor is quiet and smooth.

After reading reviews I wasn't entirely sure how I would feel about this (white base, bamboo top) but overall not too bad to put together. Took me, by myself, about an hour and a half to assemble but I was very careful with each screw/step so took my time. I haven't used it for work yet but it does raise and lower as expected. I will be using a walking pad under it, too, so should be just right. A couple tips - definitely assemble in the area you will be using it and hand tighten the screws if you tend to be a little trigger happy with screw guns.

The desk was pretty easy to put together, but some of the pre-drilled holes were not in the correct place and these holes were for the support and legs of the table. I ended up drilling my own holes to screw in the legs of the table. Also, per the instructions the 2 piece table top is suppose to have 4 holes for the wood pegs, but this one only had 3 holes for the pegs. Hopefully this will be strong enough to support the table top.

This desk is everything it promises. I did purchase a writing surface pad to protect the desk top and glad I did. There is a seam across the middle of the desk where the desk top meets. It has not been a problem since I don't really use the desk for writing. The small motor is quiet when moving the desk up and down and moves with ease. I like the preset buttons which is a nice feature. This desk is perfect for my in-home office needs and you cannot beat the price.
