I have a crazy amount of Lego. Looking online a lot of adult Lego fans were sorting their collections into either IKEA drawers or plastic drawers. I liked the IKEA look, but did not like the IKEA price. So I ordered two of these to see if I liked them. They are a tedious but easy build. It’s pretty hard to mess up this build, as it uses a limited selection of hardware to avoid any confusion with screw size, Etc. . The drawers move smoothly, although if the screws aren’t in 100% it may feel difficult to pull out. Don’t fret, just tighten the screws a bit more. I didn’t use the casters that were included, because I wanted to stack them(Not sure if they are supposed to be stacked but they seemed sturdy enough. However I will note, we did receive a caster with a broken brake tab. The build is surprisingly sturdy, even with the twist lock hardware. I would say the hardware included with this build is sturdier than real IKEA hardware. The locks actually feel strong and they let you know they are properly locked by clicking into place. Overall a great way to sort my collection and I love the nice clean look!

I bought this shelf on sale as it seemed like a dupe for the popular alex drawers, except this size is way better for my needs as a creative. What's in the box: The box is heavy, so I counted everything downstairs before moving it piece by piece to the upstairs room where it would be built. I received enough product as listed in the instructions. All the pieces were labeled with a numbered sticker. However, as the sticker is white and the font is small and thin, it was very difficult to find each piece. I did extra work to organize the individual pieces. I think color coding the stickers with a bold number would be better. The finish on the wood is a solid white coating with no scratches or discoloration. Tools: All the tools are of decent quality and there were enough bits and pieces to complete the build. However, the included screwdriver is very soft. Screwing the first two rails was enough to begin stripping the screwdriver of metal. By the time I built 6 drawers, the screwdriver was completely useless, so I skipped the 7th drawer and instead filled the bottom row with heavy books. I strongly suggest to buy a higher quality screwdriver for this build. I only continued with this screwdriver to the end because I was planning to write a review for people who might buy this without extra tools prepared. But if you are putting this in your cart today, and you have a little extra in your wallet, I strongly recommend to pair this purchase with an electric screw driver if at all possible. You need a 1/4" wide philips head. Quality of the build: The planks are made of compressed wood shavings. All the larger holes were drilled where they needed to be. However, wherever you are required to use Screw E (required for the railings, so the majority of the holes) are actually not drilled for you. What they did is make a tiny indentation where that screw is supposed to go. So you have to use some strength to get the screw in. The wood is soft but still has some resistance. It's difficult to get it to get the screw level. Mix this with the soft screwdriver metal, and you're in for a tough time. Save yourself some time and effort by using an electric screwdriver. The holes on part 11 (the bottom of the drawer) are all misaligned to the corresponding holes on pieces 8 and 9, which made it difficult to screw in the drawer railings. The holes for the dowels are built too deep. The instructions act as if the dowels will stop, but it is possible to hammer it in too deep. I accidentally did this with two dowels, which were in too snugly and I couldn't remove them. However, it doesn't seem to make a difference in the final build. So it's okay to make a few mistakes. Ease of instructions: The booklet is written in English and has a few minor spelling errors. Overall, it's easy to understand what to do from the photos alone. The text is usually helpful with extra context as needed. Final build: The drawers are easy to slide in and out, they slide all the way open, and they are easy to remove. The final build without any extra tools and slow pacing (I have a medical condition) it took about 16 hours to build. If you work confidently, use better tools, and are in better shape than me, it could easily take less than a full day. I feel these drawers are decent quality for the pricing and the trouble I went through feels trivial once the cabinet is fully built. You should definitely install the anti-tipping device, it's not heavy enough to support itself.

Item looks nice. That's it. This was probably my fault, but did not realize I would have to assemble the entire cabinet. Takes about 2 hours. Every drawer along with the drawer rails and the cabinet itself had to be assembled one board and screw at a time. When I finally finished, I went to put slide in the final drawer and it did not align properly. After two hours of assembly, I decided to just blaze my own rail holes and the top drawer to adjust for it's defect and made it work. I wasn't about to send it back just so I could spend another 1-2 hours assembling another one. Anyway, it works fine, but the project design was flawed and the inconvenience of assembling every piece was frustrating. Very low quality project.

I love the amount of drawers, at first I thought I wouldn't use them all. But because there are so many I actually got to separate some of my stuff. I use it for my office but, I am now thinking about my craft items! Its made well. I broke a small piece, from over tightening a screw. I used gorilla glue and fixed it right then and there. I expect it to last for quite awhile. As all MDF it is not made for rough and tumble but well enough for an adult who will take care of the cabinet.

I originally ordered one of these units to test in my bedroom, and it was perfect - easy to assemble with roomy drawers that slid smoothly and quietly. I then ordered five more. The quality has since decreased dramatically. The drawers are still roomy, and assembly is still easy, but the drawers stick like crazy, and they drag when pulling them out AND pushing them back in. Overall, while these are very pretty, they are no longer functional, especially for daily use. I definitely recommend selecting another brand that has drawers that move smoothly.
