Very nice tea set. Well-made, very cute, and elegant at the same time. I washed the set right away and invited the girls to a tea party. Ohmygoodness - there were squeals of delight and so much happiness all around. Hot chocolate (it's still a bit chilly out here) for tea, marshmallows as sugar cubes, and plain milk in the milk pot - some cookies too, we enjoyed a lot. Their dad joined us as well. The gold rim is so dainty-ly done, gives the set a very elegant look. The color (turquoise) is gorgeous! The box it came nestled in is very good quality and if the girls plan on keeping their tea set in the box I think it would be a good idea (I can imagine they will, they usually take good care of their toys and books). I ordered this tea set for my children so we can have some tea parties at home. This set comes with four cups with matching saucers, a cream pitcher, a sugar bowl with lid and a tea pot with lid. All pieces of the tea set are a beautiful glossy white porcelain. Excluding the lids, they all have a gold edge accent. All pieces appear well crafted, although, ultimately breakable if not handled with care. The tea pot easily holds around 1 cup (8 oz). Each tea cup can hold up to 2 oz of liquid but that is filled to the brim and 1 to 1 1/2 oz seems more reasonable. The box this set comes in is sturdy cardboard and we will definitely be saving the Styrofoam packaging for safe storage of the tea set. Overall, this is a beautiful set and I can't wait to have to some tea and cookies with my kiddos.

This porcelain tea set from Sweejar arrives in a cardbox. The tea set itself is packed with styrofoam inside a cutely printed fiberboard carry case with latch, perfect to keep all the pieces together and protected when not in use. It's suitable in size for toddlers and includes a teapot, sugar bowl,creamer and four cups with matching saucers. The seller description says the tea set is made of food-grade porcelain, fully compliant with ASTM and EN71 toy safety standards. It's a very pretty soft turquoise color with gold edging. The tea pot is big enough (just about 8 oz.) to hold liquid to fill all four cups, albeit that's only a few dainty sips each. With some little cookies and treats, add a bonnet (or tiara!) and your child will be set for afternoon tea. Would recommend.

Got this for my 6 year old who loves having tea parties with her friends. She had a metal set previously that eventually rusted and became dented. This porcelain set is the perfect replacement. While it's breakable, she's very careful with it and really likes it. The little sugar pot and cream pitcher are just adorable (those are her favorite parts too!)

This is a perfect little tea party set. The ceramic set is easy to wash and clean, easy to store as it comes in the cutest box. This is a mini set which is great for little hands to hold and use. We were easily able to have a fun tea party with snacks, and juice. The tea pot actually pours liquid, and the cups and saucers work perfectly for child sized snacks.
