This review is for the `100% Egyptian Cotton Percale Sheets King Size - Genuine Luxurious 400 Thread Count - Naturally Crisp, Breathable, Skin-Friendly & Cooling - Softer After Each Wash - Oeko-TEX Certified Giza' king size sheet set in color Mint Green, ASIN B08XW94TYL. Two sets of these king size sheets were purchased in May 2023. They were immediately washed in cold water with Nellie's laundry soda with 5% white vinegar placed in the `fabric softener' portion of the agitator in a top load Speed Queen washing machine to `set the colors'. Why the extra information? Because these sheets can take it, they are that good. At least the two sets I have are. In addition to that, after that first wash they always get washed in hot (120-degree F.) water and tumble dried on low temperature auto-dry. Just one month shy of a year of this and both sets are holding up great. Each set is rotated (one set on the bed, one set washed then stored). To date, both sets are holding their color fine. For those wondering about the fit of the fitted sheet, these are used on a Satva Classic Mattress 11.5" luxury firm, non-split mattress. The fitted sheet covers the sides fine and does go under the bottom of the mattress a few inches with very nice elastic banding. The fitted sheet could be made with more `reach' in that department, but there has been no issue with the fitted sheet popping out of place to date. So if your mattress is taller than that, say if you have the 14.5" mattress, this may be an issue for your use case. The fitted sheets that I received both have labels of `long side' or `short side', as appropriate, for all four sides. I don't know if that is the case for any other sets beyond the non-split king size though. The sheets and pillow cases after being washed and dried as listed above do have what some may call `wrinkling', but that is a non-issue here and in no way affects their amazing comfort, and I'm not ironing king size sheet sets after each wash. Um, no. It is 2024 not 1904 and these sheets are not being put on display in a palace. LOL If that's your thing, have at it and enjoy your likely perfect, no crease sheets. Well, until you actually sleep on them one night and the next morning realize that..., to each their own. :-) These sleep very nicely cool with the above listed mattress (your mileage may vary). Knowing how the `selling cycle' of a lot of goods tend to be, especially for good products it seems, a third set was desired in order to make sure that a new sheet style, color, or company doesn't have to be researched to death to find another one because an item gets discontinued. Unfortunately as of today, 4-13-2024, both Amazon and the Sweave homepage (listed under Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set) do not list the sheets in Mint Green in stock for this set any longer. They do show Light Grey and White as two currently produced and available sets though. Hopefully, they will be bringing back the Mint Green again at some point and if so, two more sets will be ordered and put into rotation.     • If you love a cool, crisp sheet

Purchases the sheet in white. Excellent elastic all around plus additional elastic at the corners to ensure fitted sheet stays in place. I have extra plush pillows filled with memory foam and the pillow cases covered them completely with their inside pocket. I wanted almost crunchy (not super soft) sheets that are cool and refreshing and these delivered. Yes the tradeoff is more wrinkles but I didn't feel the need to iron them and they are fading after one or two sleeps. I have a mattress cover on my mattress so they didn't seem so see through but if your mattress is dark, you may see the color or pattern if you purchase white.     • The most comfortable sheets
I love these sheets. So soft , comfortable,cooking and well made. Love the Deep pockets for high mattresses. Expect wrinkles after several initial washes . Remove promptly and fold. I ironed the pillowcase in the beginning. But sateen sheets if you complain about wrinkling but they won’t be as cooling due to the weave . I’m going to buy a second set. ... show more

I love cool crisp sheets and the idea of Egyptian cotton, "organic" w/percale weave was so appealing and the price was ok. I got them yesterday and got them on the bed. They are very thin BUT they are cool and beautifully made. Full elastic on fitted sheet WITH more elastic across corners to hold it even more in palce. I am just not used to cotton percale sheets being so thin but I haven't gotten Egyptian cotton with a percale weave before SO I am going to keep them and see how they hold up and what happens after a few washes. ... show more

    • Soft and fine after a wash

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like these so far! At first I was skeptical as this is a new product with few reviews, but the sheets have nice, opaque body and a fine, silky (but matte in the style of good percale) texture. They seem clearly to be woven from long fibers! When I opened the package I was also surprised by how much chemical coating was on the sheets and worried that I had received nylon as there doesn’t seem to be a legit Egyptian cotton symbol but after washing them on warm with mild detergent, baking soda and oxygen bleach, followed by a vinegar rinse then dried on low (in one of those large launderette dryers without softener or dryer balls) was so happy with the way they turned out. They are much better than the Sleep Mantra sheets I purchased earlier this year, which are ok but much more transparent, rougher and prone to catching lint. I think they are worth the money: I have a similar set that I bought from Crate and Barrel in a sale that were otherwise priced twice as much and think they are very equal. The stitching is not as refined but still nice and there are some wrinkles but very small and distributed evenly which do not at all annoy me. Tempted to buy another set soon! Edit: Forgot to mention that if you have queen sized pillows (20x30”) the pillowcases are too small. I am a hyper allergic vegetarian (and these are very hypoallergenic once washed it seems!) and use down alternative pillows so they look a bit awkwardly stuffed in the cases. YMMV with feathers. ... show more

Not what I’d hoped for when ordering Egyptian cotton, percale sheets. Scratchy, poor stitching on the top sheet which literally pulled in the first wash, and no softness whatsoever I feel like these are very low quality. And I rarely post, so you can tell I was totally underwhelmed. Would go to a better vendor ….certainly will never buy sheets on Amazon again. ... show more
