This is the best cocktail shaker I've ever used. The lid forms are very firm seal which prevents any unwanted leakage, though the trade off is it makes the lid difficult to remove. Good trade in my opinion. The juicer on the underside of the lid works well and is easy to clean.

EXCELLENT SHAKER. LOVE IT. I'm yelling because this is the 3rd drink shaker I've purchased on Amazon. And it's the best. First I got a Good Grips, but it has two layers of plastic and water got between them and wouldn't evaporate. Then I got a metal one that got too cold when shaken, the strainer lid wouldn't come off until it warmed up and it rusted when washed. This shaker is just right. Clear so I can see what I'm pouring (and can measure). Lid comes off easily - I mainly shake up my iced coffee and I want the foam in my glass! Wish I'd bought this one first! ... show more

Some of the reviews for this mixer said to “give it a chance even though it’s plastic.” And “it’s amazing”. As soon as I heard that it was plastic I was like “yikes!!!!”. Well, we gave it a chance anyways and we are NOT disappointed. This is the best mixer my husband and I have ever used. We highly recommend it. The bottle opener at the bottom is really great and convenient, as is the juicer on the inside. you just have to flip it over you use. it’s amazing. The rubberized material that it’s made out of gives the mixer the perfect seal, too. The shaker lid holds perfectly in place, no fear of it falling off. You can also get the lids off when it needs to, unlike some metal mixers when they get too cold. The BEST part of this bar mixer is the perfectly designed raised measuring marks on the sides. I bought one of these for my husband from a liquor store 5 years ago. We still have it, it has never leaked, and shows no real sign of giving out anytime soon. Between mixing drinks or simply using it as a juice for citrus, we like to have 2 shakers and all other ones leak within a year or less, so I finally bought another one. I liked the idea that it would be leak proof, and it is., And that it was all in one, including the built in lemon/ lime press. However, .the top and shot 'glass' are rubber, so VERY hard to undo without spilling, and they water stain in the dishwasher. I will buy a different one.
