The crimper did not work right out of the box. Since it was hopefully going to help me out a great bit the next day I took it apart and found that one of the wires to the switch had broke. The next day I soldered it back together and touched up the other connection on the switch. After everything was completed it worked well and was a time saver. After seeing the internals, I wish it was slightly better built materials for the price. I do understand that it is extremely cheap compared to others like it but for a couple hundred dollars I would like something that doesn't seem like it's going to burn up a wire or have a bad connection again by looking at it the wrong way.

Used the crimper for about 6-8 weeks and after building multiple size cables we are extremely unsatisfied with the crimper, performance and quality product. The crimper started getting stuck in the full open position, overheating after max 1200 cycles. Could be a good product just seems to be cheaply built. We should have gone with a more expensive product vs a cheaper one.

Works great. I do telecom power and have done over 300 crimps in the past month with it. No issues. I does not crimp 500 burndy lugs it higher maybe it would do thin walled lugs of that size. I use the 250 for 4/O flex and have no issues with the other sizes below that. Great tool. I'd like to try out some of your other tools in the future.

Works as advertised, though the sizes of the various fittings are... very weird. What's stamped on the dies doesn't match ANY of the details on either the listing, or in the (badly translated) manual. That said, some googling will find you what the equivalent sizes are, and they're close enough to do the job.

Works well, had no issues doing 2awg back to back to back. The dies are accuratly sized, and crimp pretty nicely. I do have an issue with the fact that it doesn't stamp the die size used into the lug as you are crimping since that is generally common practice. Very easy to use, display was bright and easy to read but I don't like that it won't let you reset the amount of crimps you have done (like for instance at the start of each job). It makes me think there may be some deceiving electronics inside that make prevent it from working after a preset amount of crimps. Lastly the batteries are the only ones you can use... ever. It uses knockoff Makita batteries but the knockoffs don't work in Makita tools and the genuine makita batteries don't work in the crimper. So if these batteries fail, you're screwed.... i take immense issue with that. But for the money, I guess it's worth it.

I’ve used this electric hydraulic crimping tool on a wide range of wire sizes—from 6AWG to 600MCM—and it hasn’t let me down once. The 6-ton pressure is more than enough for clean, solid crimps on both copper and aluminum terminals. The rechargeable battery holds a solid charge and makes the whole process fast and effortless. After over 100 crimps, it still performs like new. Great value, especially with the full kit included. Highly recommended for professionals or serious DIYers!

While this product’s price is attractive. Do not purchase this and expected it to perform as advertised. I purchased this because the specs say it will crimp 600 MCM cable. But it will not. Even though it comes with 600 MCM dies they do not match industry standard specs, and the jaws will not open far enough in order to crimp a connector. Complete waste of money. Stick with the name brand products such as Milwaukee, Burndy, Rigid etc.
