Description

Kingslayer is a super compact open reflex dot sight allowing a quick acquisition of a sight picture with both eyes open. For pistol slide platforms, remove the included 1913 Picatinny mount and use the RMR-compatible footprint underneath. With the Picatinny mount installed, Kingslayer works great on rifle and other applications. Kingslayer is waterproof, fog resistant and features a scratch resistant, anti-glare lens multicoating. Built like a tank, Kingslayer will maintain its zero on reciprocating pistol slides, 12 gauge guns and even .308 battle rifles. Choose from 3 MOA red dot, red circle dot, or green circle dot reticles.

The optic is perfect it doesn't smear like the other red dots I have tried, the lens is crystal clear. The only thing mildly concerning is the shipping box looked like someone took a bat to it but nothing was damaged. Will see how well it does on the range. Oh and installation was super easy

Super easy to mount on a rmr cut optic slide. I attached my green circle dot kingslayer to a tisas px-9, the kingslayer was a quarter mm too large and i had to use a mallet to get the optic flush with the slide cut out. No damage to optic. This is a great entry level optic for someone looking for a self defense optic. The circle is amazing, in a self defense situation put the circle over the target and you will get shots within the circle. The brightness settings are very bright. The dot on the green circle dot is an amber color, or at least thats what my eye sees. Pros: the green circle dot optic comes already pre-zeroed, i had to make only very minor adjustments. Once it's zeroed in, it's hard to miss. If you don't absolutely want a circle dot, I recommend you look at other low cost red dots that have shake awake. I think there's better value going that route. going from iron sights, it's going to take a lot of reps for me to be able to consistently bring the sight up to eye level. ... show more

Optic fits an RMR cut. 10 levels of brightness with a crisp target. I do enjoy the crosshairs reticle. Easy to zero in. The only thing I didn't like was the battery port on the side. It sticks out a little on the side of the housing which may rub over time. If I had to choose I would definitely choose this optic over the Vortex Viper or Venom. I love this sight. It has a normal size reticle similar to what you'd find in a Holosun 503 instead of something smaller to fit in the micro dot. I also have a Holosun 507C X2 and do not like it; the smaller circle obscures too much of the target and the larger ring around the dot on the Kingslayer is much easier for me to use. As far as durability goes, I have it on my 870 and it survived 12 gauge slugs, buckshot, and about an additional 100 rounds of target loads in my first range trip. I have no reason to suspect it will fail but even if it did, I hear that Swampfox has an excellent warranty. As you can see in the photo, the green reticle is excellent. There is no question of whether or not it will get bright enough either; I was shooting facing the stupid, exploding mid-day sun at one point and just turned the brightness up and kept shooting. If you shoot with both eyes open and position the sight at the rear of the receiver, the size of the window shouldn't make a difference. The only negative is that it does not have a motion sensing auto on like my Holosun sights and the battery life is nowhere near the million hours some others have. Personally, I don't care about the battery because you replace it with a side tray and don't have to remove and rezero the sight. Again, I love it. Buy it. ... show more

I rarely write negative reviews. However I received the dot and it was clearly used, packaging was messed up, no battery cover and did not turn on. I was really hoping this would work for my pistol and the price was great. So insted of returning for refund I accepted a replacment. The second one was new and packaged well. However as I saw another review state the reticle is HUGE and I mean huge. It takes up almost the entire viewing window and you cannot turn the circle off and view the dot only. It totally blocks your target. I returned it and went with an Osight which $100 more but I love it. I would not recommend. ... show more

This mounted up nicely on my VP9 L with plate #2 and works great, I have a gnarly astigmatism, keratoconus actually, and I have few problems with it, it's more crisp than the couple of EOtech holos I've looked through to me. Holds zero fine with 2-3 weekly training sessions of ~200 rounds each and Kydex holster draws. The only part I would want to caution on is that it's a bit wider than the more current offerings from Swampfox even with the battery on the side. If that's a concern for you I would recommend the justice or liberty their newer options but you will lose the green circle dot reticle that way. ... show more

Quality wise it is a well made optic. Its holds zero well. I wanted green instead of red and it does the job. The cons though make me wish I had gone elsewhere. A couple cheaper ones I tried had shake awake and this one does not. I didn’t think it was that big a deal but it is in retrospect. When turning it on there is a substantial delay before the crosshairs actually show up which is a huge drawback. If this is for target practice only you won’t mind the delay, but if this is for defense there are better options out there and some are even cheaper. ... show more

The Kingslayer is an excellent sight. It is compact and light, one of the smallest ones I've come across. The battery can be replaced via a side tray, no need to remove the sight from the gun. I have it mounted on a Ruger Mark IV tactical on the Picatinny rail. This sight includes the Pic rail mount, a lot of other manufacturers now no longer ship with the sight. I choose the green circle/Dot reticle. Clarity is good, only wish it had a shake & wake feature. One minor issue which is common to all reflex sights is the topic of eye relief. They all state that the eye relief is 'unlimited', which is technically correct, but on a handgun with the firearm at armlength the reticle practically fills the entire screen. This makes fast target acquisition difficult. On a rifle where the sight is closer to the eye the reticle size is smaller and more useable. Takes a little practice to get used to. Overall, I give this sight high marks, it is built very solid and is easy to install. ... show more
