It keeps your baby’s arms away from their face and controls the startle reflex without squeezing them a ton which my kids haven’t liked. Bought this for my 3rd baby so I’ve really tried all the swaddles at this point and have really loved this. We used this right out of the hospital with an 8lb baby and since it is fall have had her in an onesie and booties underneath.
