I will never change another tire again without the use of these indispensable tire bead clamps. They easily slip on one side of the rim, freeing up the hands and body to finish the job. No clamping or anything of the sort nor is there anymore using the knees to hold down one side of the tire while trying to pry or force on the rest of the tire to the rim. They are made of resin, though well made and sturdy and up to the task at hand without any concern of them coming apart or breaking. The tire bead clamp seems to be well made. Simple design and easy to use. I actually purchased them to see if it would make changing my Fatboy tires easier. The lower profile wide tires have a really stiff sidewall which is hard to get into the low spot on the rim. The clamps actually work well, keeping the bead down far enough to easily slide the tire on with little resistance. I can see where they may not work as well on certain style rims, but when you run into that situation, take the money you saved doing all your other tires, and pay a shop to do those. These made mounting my 275/35/18's much easier on my 18x9 rims. I could not have mounted them without these. The wheels are very wide with big brake cut, so the wheel drop center is down far. These made the job do-able on a fairly cheap tire changer. No damage to the wheels. Would highly recommend these if you mount your own tires. ... show more

Great price, easy to use, but kept slipping off. eventually got the job done. I think if they were rubber coated to prevent slippage they would work better.

Gives you an extra hand to hold tire in place. I will get these again if I need more. Very easy to clamp on. A one hand operation. Easy to remove. Plastic seems to be good quality and there is enough spring on the clamp to give moderate tension but not so much that it is hard to remove. Overall makes the job easier. ... show more
