The access door is well made and exactly fit the rough opening given in the instructions. I used some left over silicone caulk to glue the door into place. It fits very close to the sheetrock. I installed this panel in our laundry room, so it isn't in constant view.

I like that the door is removable. It pops out of the pivot making access so easy not to mention installation. You may want to splurge on the quick grab adhesive for this . It makes install painless.
