    • Poor quality and all the wrong gaskets.
This kit was purchased for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee X with a 5.7 hemi. All of the gaskets were wrong except the timing cover and crankshaft oil seal. Had to buy head gaskets oil pan gasket valve cover gaskets and water pump gasket. That said I've driven the Jeep about 200 miles and the lifters are really loud. I mean I only hear it when I'm idling and outside or have the windows down. But it's concerning cause this repair took every last bit of 4 days to complete and I don't wanna do it again anytime soon. I think proactively I'm gonna source a used HEMI and take my time and do a complete rebuild with Mopar parts then take a day and do an engine swap. I love this vehicle and would like to have it for another 200k miles. The gaskets may be right for a Dodge ram or Chrysler 300 but not a Jeep GC WK2. ... show more
