Very nice quality and value for your money with this little ditty. Originally I had a problem getting my DAW to recognize it, or so I thought, so I bought a more expensive one to see if it was a pedal or an integration problem. When the second pedal arrived I quickly determined the first pedal was the culprit. Hey, things happen, you get a dud, no big deal! I contacted Amazon for an "exact exchange" and a new pedal was sent the next day. It arrived about 4 hours after I returned this one. You can't beat that for customer service! So... now I had a dilemma, I had just received the even exchange pedal and still had the other, more expensive, "test pedal". Which one do I keep? Well, I decided to run a head to head comparative test to see what differences (if any) there were between the two. Visually, this one is a classical style and the other, a more modern version. I did feel the modern pedal had a bigger non slip footprint than the classical one but neither was a clear winner at staying put so they tied on that point. Both were plug and play and both had an operational polarity switch so again, a tie. Both gave beautiful sustain with no noticeable sound differences although I did feel the modern pedal released sustain slightly earlier than the original and a little to "hair trigger" for my liking. Finally it came down to looks and I must admit this is purely my opinion but I chose to keep the original pedal due to its classic good looks and seemingly more agreeable sustain release. I am very happy with my decision and look forward to many years of service from this pedal. Unbelievable value, classic good looks, beautiful sustain and an honest seller make this a no brainer. As usual, if something goes ka-floowie(?) in the future I will update my review but for now...It's FIVE STARS all the way!

I can’t believe this even works for how affordable it is! I’ve now bought 3 of them, and even the first one from a year ago still works after daily use and lugging it around the outdoor gigs in the rain. Don’t waste your money on an expensive brand name one! This one does the job every time.

My KAWAI ES110 sustain pedal is broken, it lasts the sound of sustain forever and cannot stop until I unplug the pedal. This new pedal works just as well as the KAWAI before it was broken. The touch of the pedal feels good amount of weight, easy to bounce up after pressing down. There is a side button to reverse the sustain pedal - to press down as to release the sustain, and lift the pedal to keep the sustain going, which is counter intuitive but worth playing around. For $10, it is off great value.

Working great so far. Switch is set for Normally Open (N.O.) on the pedal to work with my Arturia Keylab Essential 61. Sustain is definitely needed for lush chords when using piano vst's.
