Love these wooden wall mounts! They are so pleasing to look at since they are made of solid wood. Minimal assembly is required. It comes with all the necessary hardware, wood stickers (to cover the screw holes) and an extra protective foam strip for each leg of the mount. This was intended to mount a snowboard in the garage, however, I really enjoy the natural appeal that I might use it as a plant hook or shelf. A concern is the depth of the edge that holds the snowboard from sliding off. Because snowboards have metal rails, the height of the edge is fine - it won't slide off. However, if it were used for a thicker SUP or surfboard, it might not keep it in place. I love how it is made of quality material and it fits in well with our modern farmhouse aesthetics. The only other thing I noticed was the adhesive on the foam padding, it appears to pull off at the ends. That's a quick fix. Otherwise, I'm happy with this product!

At a price point of $20 the surfboard racks are of surprising quality. They have a really nice darker wood finish with a nice, stained finish added to that darker wood and they have thought of everything as far as the stickers to plug up any hardware holes and the rubber surface you're going to want to protect your surfboard as it sits on these racks. The installation of these racks is very simple. You don't necessarily need to use a stud to mount these although I would highly recommend doing so. In my opinion, having used plenty of different styles of wall mounted racks, the only size board you're going to get away with using anchors directly into the drywall is your shortboard variant. Anything that gets into fun shape or longboard sizing, trust me you're going to want to find the studs in the wall for extra security when hanging your board. All around it's a better secure way to mount racks or hanging leather straps that would hold a board that are studded into the wall. Any type of rack (in my opinion) there are two important things you want to worry about, one being you obviously want to protect your surfboard, and have it secured to the wall looking even and proper and two, you also do NOT want to damage your wall. Again, with the quality provided hardware you can get away with hanging a shortboard, anything else I'd play it safe. I would recommend tapping into the studs it if you're using anything from a fun shape 7ft-7'4' to a long board sized surfboard definitely get yourself a stud finder and use the stud. It's your preference obviously, I'm just sharing my experiences. Either way, the product itself can handle the weight of any board you put on it with proper spacing and installment of the product. A little bit more on these racks. Again, I am really impressed with the hardware and the look with the really deep stained darker wood finish on them. The portion that is actually going to hold your board is elongated at just the right length to where you're not going to have to worry about your board tipping over its going to lean against the wall properly and the rubber is going to hold the board into place. You can think of the rubber as kind of like a rubber grommet, or as good as surf wax as it's definitely not going to allow the fiberglass on your surfboard to move freely. Aside from the well thought out and stylish design these are rugged surf racks with plenty room on the bottom lip that's going to hold and secure your board. They have a great look to them, and I want to touch on the price again as well, to finally find a set of these that are not priced out at $40 for just one pair, these are priced appropriately, and I feel like the quality is really here. I was waiting for a second pair of these that I felt were going to be a good match to the first pair that I got, and these are a great addition. Although I may be a tad repetitive right now but the fact that at $20, all hardware is included and these things look as good as they do with the mounting options you have, Including the fact that they're also quality, you really can't beat it. I would say from the small details from the screws to the anchors to the rubber protection for your board and it is taking all of about 15 minutes to install these, even If you don't consider yourself handy with tools these are a breeze to install. Finally just for some measurements, the portion that your board will be sitting on the elongated portion is protected because it has kind of a upward hook and again it just leans against the wall from there and that is about 8 inches in length I would say (if I remember correctly, almost certain within cm's) and then the base plate that would go into the wall rounding up is about 5 inches and everything is self-tapping so if you don't have a drill it'll be a little bit more work but you can get it done with a screwdriver and just be careful not to strip your screws. It's also worth mentioning that this doesn't have to be for surfboards alone, it could be for longboard skateboards, wakeboards, really whatever you want to hang on here, however that's when I will revert back to the earlier part of this review and STRESS to use good judgment if you're going to put something heavy like a longboard skateboard on these racks as you need to use the studs for something like that, fair warning. Otherwise, you're going to rip your drywall. So just use good judgment. Other than that, this product is an absolute win at $20, they're stylish with a beautiful wood grain color, they're rugged and they serve their purpose well.

Very cute, nice wood rack. I bought these to potentially hold a 15 lb digital piano. I haven't tried that yet, and I'm not sure I will (trying to decide where it will go), but if I do, I will update my experience here. The item says it holds up to 30 lbs I believe, if I remember correctly. I think it could work well!

My teen just received his first surfboard and wanted to display it in his room. I love the wood brackets- they have a great natural but modern look and styling to them. They arrived well packaged in the box, were smooth with no rough edges, and came with the necessary hardware to install- even came with little stickers to cover the screw heads. They were easy to install using a laser level to determine where to place the brackets to hold the surfboard. They are holding an 8' soft surfboard, and they feel very secure.

I like the walnut wood (I think it’s walnut) - the tone is nice and not overly dark but the finish seemed a bit lacking in terms of placement of the adhesive strip and the adhesive cushion is just a couple of mm to wide on the shelf piece. I’ve included photos so you judge for yourself as to whether I’m being overly critical. These open spots are opportunities for water to get behind the adhesive and decrease the adhesiveness of the rest of the strip. I will say I think it would be easy enough to replace the adhesive strip - they include a couple of extra so maybe it was designed this way. Let me end by stating it is very attractive and I like the rounded corners.

I got these racks for my snowboard and can’t wait to install them. Solid wood and comes with lots of extra pieces just in case. The only con is the stickers that are supposed to be used to cover up the screws. They’re way lighter than the wood so look a little odd. It would look so much better if they had those tiny wood caps to fill the screw hole instead. Other than that it’s a great way to clear up some floor space and get my board on display. Just enough space for one board with bindings.
