This was a replacement for my original cord I accidentally left dangling in a cup of water (long story). It works great. Charges fast. The only thing I did notice that it’s kind of weak where the cord connects to the magnetic connector but for the price it is well worth it.

    • Will not charge my surface while being used
This item is not good. Not the same specification of the OEM. Surface battery drains while being plugged in and “charging”. The power supply makes the surface pro “glitchy” when plugged in and trying to use it at the same time. Unplug the charger and everything works as it should.

Charger works well with my Surface Pro 4 even though it’s not the “name-brand” product. Cord length is just right, and it can be packed nicely for travel. Good quality for the cost!

So far this seems to be doing well. Usually with the surface chargers there is a wire breaking issue near the charging port next to the tablet. This seems to have a thick enough cord to protect the wire.

    • Doesnt seem to charge continuously
The charger neither charges my surface laptop if the screen is on (so as to recharge it), nor does it actually continuously connect. The white light seems to go in and out. Just painful.
