I have not used this in the water yet, but the sizing is true based on their chart dimensions (snug as it should be, but able to breath). Wrist openings are snug (as they need to be). Construction seems good but time will tell once it gets some use.

I never owned a front zipped wetsuit top for surfing and was reluctant to try one out. This 3mm top did not disappoint. Very comfortable, easy to get in and out of and a great value compared to the big brand names. Perfect for those chilly, overcast morning sessions when the water is still relatively warm. Super warm no doubt. But the seems meet in the armpit so it’s a bit uncomfortable paddling for extended periods of time. The zipper is great and non intrusive. Arms are are just as thick as the body so it feels a little restrictive but overall a good deal. I had a hole pop up in the armpit seem after 2 surf sessions but I sewed it up no problem. If I could change one thing it would be the seems in the armpit, other tops have a solid piece sewn in that fits the armpit so when the top moves up it doesn’t ride into you causing discomfort. ... show more

I have just returned from a once in a lifetime vacation in Bora Bora. I did 3 tours where we did three and four snorkel dives a day. In addition I did scuba dives to 30-40 feet. The wet suit dive jacket preformed well. Even though Bora Bora is close to the equator the water is cool. I was comfortable even after long exposures. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

I have recently tried other wetsuit tops from well known manufacturers and the fit was off by one or two sizes for me. I returned two other wet suit tops and then ordered this Surf Squared top in the 2mm version. I was very happy to find the large was a perfect fit for me. I am 5'9", 170lbs with an above average muscular build. Looking forward to early fall surfing. Purchased this late October 2021 for the cold hawaiian winter waters...YES water gets cold in Hawaii during our "winter months"....this jacket does keep me warm, zippers have a flap cover (surfers know this is important) and it works well. Unfortunately, this thing started falling apart! Even with TLC! rinsing it out with cold water and hanging it to air dry....I guess you get what you pay for....should have invested on a name brand like ONeil or DaKine....I took the time to take pictures for you fakas :) save your money folks and pass on this one. ... show more

The jacket was a good buy. Wear in the water is good and it does help with the cold. There is good range of motion in the arms and shoulders while swimming. Because of the slight increase in buoyancy my strokes were not as smooth as usual but this I’m sure will be less of an issue as I get used to the jacket. The jacket did ride up slightly after 2 1/2 hours swimming laps, but it wasn’t really a problem. At this point I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more
