I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I HATE the feeling of microfiber against my skin. Especially when wet. The "turkish towel" material is soft, absorbent, and doesn't feel like it drags against my skin. Super comfortable, all the other dads at the pool were jealous this summer! Notes: The top pocket needs some improvement. It needs a better zipper, the plasticky one is kind of awful. The sewing on the pocket and design weren't great. The hand pocket would be exponentially better if there was a lip on the sides so I could at least set my phone in there for a few seconds without it sliding out. I suspect they did it to make sure it doesn't hold sand, but it is easy to get rid of sand. The hood is a bit smaller than I am thrilled about. But I understand that the newer batch has larger hoods. But those are very long descriptions of small issues for a glorified towel. Overall, absolutely worth it, especially if you don't like microfiber.

Very comfy to wear around, and works as a changing solution. I like this thing. Works well as a towel too. However the chest pocket zipper is crappy and poorly sewed on (not a big deal). Basically only lost one star for that and because the sleeve holes and body are cut just a little narrow for changing inside of comfortably, but still very doable. For a smaller person I would say its probably perfect. This isn't the warmest option, but I preferred something more compact and it stays pretty warm down here in SoCal anyway. The fabric is really soft and pleasant but still seems durable. It's basically Turkish towel fabric and I often wear it home.

I look forward to my surf session because I have such a comfy, easy to wear, stylish poncho that I can just leave on after I get out of my wetsuit. I feel 100% comfortable wearing this thing to run errands post surf. It is easy to change in and out of and there is plenty of room to move around inside while getting your wesuit on and off. You can also just bring it to the beach as a cover if it gets cold and windy. I don't want to take it off - it is the best surf poncho I have come across - it is a must have!

This one looks good, but is made of cotton and isn't large enough to actually change under. You would be able to take bottoms off, but bending your legs underneath will not be happening. Ended up getting five Suncube beach ponchos instead and those were everyone's favorite.

Good quality poncho, only wish that the pocket had a pass through for changing like some other brands have. Other than that though works great and would recommend.

This is AMAAAAHHHZING! It is perfect for spring, summer and fall on the East Coast. It’s light airy, roomy, lengthy and Im a curvy girl, 5’8” and 220lbs.i have plenty of room to move in it! I love the button front and the zip and kangaroo pockets, surprisingly pockets are not easy to find! We are at the Y daily for pool therapy for my husband. This will be perfect for before and after the pool! I love, love, love it. I already purchased a 100% cotton heavier one in the same style and company for the winter months! They are both perfect! Plus I love sea turtles and this company partnering with SEEturtles.org to share a portion of what you pay to support baby sea turtle survival? Priceless! I highly recommend this! You will love the light feel!
