  • Wonderful cane!
This is a wonderful cane. The more I use it the more I like it. I take it everywhere. On flat services I can let it stand on its own. I can walk freely and confidently knowing that at any angle the cane will be secure. At first I was disappointed that the cane handle did not have a foam covering, but after using the cane, I don't need the foam. The handle is designed so that I can grip it easily and hold it without my arthritic fingers hurting too much. The cane is expensive compared to the $20 variety common everywhere. But it is worth the price, and should be bought and tried out. I like the copper-colored ferrule under the handle, contrasts nicely against the black color of the cane, gives the cane a bit of "elegance". This sculptured handle looks a lot better than the offset handles. This cane for sized for shorter people. Perfect for me at 5'2". Taller people have to buy the StepFoot All-Terrain Cane (this cane has foam and is off-set). ... show more

The handle on the cane is heavier than I thought it would be. The older canes had a rubber handle which seemed to make the cane lighter.

  • My mother in law loves it
This is her 2nd cane..the first one was recently run over after she left it in a parking lot next to her car. However, it did survive the run over-- just a little bent. She has had this cane for years...and is stopped constantly for brand name. She finds it to give the her just the right security she needs to stabilize herself. Just note she is a tall woman and it works perfect with the adjuster. In addition she has had a knee replacement and hip replacement. ... show more

  • Sure Step Terrain Cane
I have used a Sure Step Terrain Cane since 2005, It was given to me as a gift .I like the way it steps with you as you walk and gives you great balance with the unique flat bottom. It is not good if you do not have good balance due to the springs . Thanks, Burnette M Freeman

  • A good device, an entire team to help you
This cane has not been trouble free for me but I LOVE it and would recommend it to any one/every one because there is an entire wonderful team that stands behind it. Disabled people (I have multiple sclerosis) require good customer service and this customer service and care is exquisite. Perhaps because the cane was invented by a physician and marketed by clinical people that include a physical therapist. Please go to their web site and watch the video and bring the product descriptions of the different devices offered to your own physician or therapist. If you or your doctor would like to discuss this with the Sure Step team, I can tell you from experience that the Sure Step response time via email is apparently 24/7 and so quick you will be stunned. I feel blessed to have discovered it. ... show more

  • Second time around for this cane. Really, it changed my life.
I have had more than one's share of falls in my 13 post-stroke years, but with the All-Terrain Cane, I'm safe. I'm on my second cane, the first was suggested by a physical therapist, and it's like having a third foot or ankle when you need one. Intuitively, I've come to understand how to move or lean differently to on the cane when I feel unsteady for any reason. Wet leaves? No problem. Winter weather? Just use common sense and know the cane will support you. Balance crisis? You're ok, relax. Your newfound strength becomes 2nd nature. Can you tell that I think this is great?! I'm still learning on sand (even this amazing device cannot make sand less squishy!) One caveat. This is NOT the cane you see on TV, magically appearing from a woman's purse or leaning alongside the canned goods aisle at your supermarket. No, this is a serious support for cane users and deserves the respect we give walkers and wheelchairs. Every time another cane comments, That's quite the cane you have!" My reply? Yes, I do. Indeed I do. PS I ordered both canes from Amazon and have been delighted with the customer service. ... show more

  • Perfect
I searched high and low for this cane. Nothing out there beats it for safety, durability and function. Expensive, but worth every penny. Lots of comments and compliments from doctors and medical staff that I visit. I now have two - one kept in the car and one in the house.
