Excellent cane especially for short people. I’ve had mine for a year now and have found it indispensable for keeping me steady on my feet. Its stand alone feature is a blessing and the flashlights assist going up and down stairs safely at night is an added benefit. The fact that I can fold it up when traveling makes it so much easier for flying because I can keep it by my seat and walk safely down the aisle. Be sure to check the battery cover frequently. Very sturdy and pretty. I did have to replace with a sturdier base, the one that it comes with was pretty flimsy and did not give very good support, but once I got one with a wider footprint and heavier rubber, it was perfect. My mom hated using a cane but she loves the color (got her the purple) and the little bling at the top by the handle, so she doesn't mind using it at now!

The flashlights are a great idea, especially one down and one forward, and the small standing tip works well for its size. The cane folds well. But when the cane tip hits the ground in normal walking, the lights usually go out. Then I have to press the switch again. Obviously the wiring is not sturdy enough. And the tip makes noise when it hits the ground, more than any other cane I have used.

The lights on this cane are great. There's a straight ahead light and then there's a downward light. They both have their uses and together they're very useful. The cane is sturdy and stable. As with all self standing canes whether or not it stands is dependent on the surface you're standing it on and how the feet wear. My one complaint is the Velcro strap used to hold the cane together doesn't last long.. I wish they had used more of an elastic type band. I did have a problem with the battery compartment cover. It was loose and eventually fell off and was lost. This was several months after purchasing the cane. I contacted the seller and they responded the same day. They shipped the lost part for free the day they got my address and I was back in business a couple days later. The new cover isn't even loose like the original. Their customer service team was fast, friendly and eager to help. It's really a great feeling when you deal with customer service people who care about their products and customers. Given my experience with this company, especially in light of my experience with their competitor, they have won a loyal customer.

I bought this to use at night walking my dog. I live in a desert city where it’s too hot to walk your pets during the day. The flashlight is bright. The downward light is nice. But if the cane gets put on the ground too hard, the lights go out. I feel like I’m constantly turning the flashlight back on. The cane is nice. I’m going to keep it, but just disappointed

I have had to use a cane for several years now as I need a total knee replacement. My first cane was terrible then I started reading about the BeneCanes. I just bought two more ( one purple one blue ) now I can always have a cane to match my clothing. I would never buy any other cane and the light on the cane is absolutely perfect especially if you out at night and the pathways are not stable. The only thing I needed to change was the rubber on the bottom of the cane. The small bottom rubber just doesn’t hold up the cane when you let go, so I purchased a larger four sided rubber to replace this smaller one. Outside of that these canes are perfect and classy looking for ladies and the price is not any more than you would pay for a cheaper cane. When I am out at night with the light on I am always stopped by someone asking about these canes. I always tell them where I bought it and how much I love it!
