Pros: This ceiling mount is very sturdy and doesn't stand out. Most people don't even realize we have a projector mounted until we point it out. I love how you can hide the cables inside the stem. The opening is wide enough to route a 3 prong power cable through it. The kit comes with 4 mounting arms for the projector, our Epson EF-100 only has 3 mounting points so I just didn't use the 4th and I was able to adjust the angles for a perfect fit! Very versatile. Since our ceiling outlet is centered on the room but the projector lens is not, I have to tilt the arm sideways a little and the projector mount downward. The the fasteners do a great job holding it firmly in place. Very solid design. Cons: none. Any cons I would have would be due to user error or impatience during installation. Advice: make sure that you center the projector before mounting it because the projection angle makes a huge difference to how "square" your image is. Also, don't over tighten the screws. It's tempting but tighten them just enough so the joints don't move. The projector is basically just hanging there anyway, so you just need to tighten the screws enough so it doesn't swing or sway, or to fight gravity if you have to tilt it downward to project where you want it to. Also if you have to make adjustments, loosen the screws first. Forcing it to move while the screws are already tightened will wear out the metal or could break the screw if you have it on too tight.

Bought this mount to use in my 2 car garage. Came with all needed materials including the projector mounts screws which I was impressed with. Most of my early mounts didn’t come with that needed hardware and left it to the customer to go out and purchase more hardware. A+ on that note. Came with an Assortment of needed screws, more than you will actually use to install this unit. I did take pictures of all the hardware and mount before and after installation. The only issue was the adjustable mount rail. I really didn’t like that design but this is all in my opinion anyways. I have I guess a complex when hanging things from my ceiling that cost a lot of money and don’t retain a safety screw or bolt to ensure my projector doesn't weigh down the one screw. I decided to drill in a safety screw after getting the projector just right. Other than that one issue it was perfect. Not taking a star off for my issues. Great item with a great price.

This is a really nice mount for the price. I used 4 of them on a specially built board to do projections onto my windows for Halloween. I wanted to use these without the extension piece but the mount has actually be redesigned since the instructions where printed. It can still be used without the extension piece but it needs to be "rigged" a little to do so and the piece that is mounted to the projector "arms" piece ends up getting bend/curled up a little bit. But, it still works and holds the projector solidly. Thought I'd write this review to show people how I connected the pieces and used the bolts to "suck in" the once piece that was a little too wide which is what causes it to curl up a little. But it still holds the projector in place and that's my main concern. Bottom line, this is a well built and very nice mount for the price.

Got this to hang my projector out in my covered patio area for out door movies. Before I decided to just get it I was concerned that it wouldn't be the best for quality because of the low price compared to others. I mean it is going to hold my $900.00 projector about 6ft in the air... BUT I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Was pretty easy to install and love the adjustability. Only issue I had was the arms that connect to the projector were a little finicky to adjust right, but I have an older projector and the mount points are not in the best position. Over all I would suggest this one, and price was great!

I have a light weight projector that I use in garage to project computer screen on the wall. Decided to mount the projector permanently using this projector mount. I got help from handy person who installed it on the ceiling and connected the projector. No need to have shelf and clutter that comes with shelf. Now it all looks great and simple. Could adjust angle the way I had it on the shelf. As of today it is holding just fine.

The design is awesome. I can tilt the projector any way I need to because there are 3 different joints. That's really awesome when it comes to leveling. The only down side is that the joints could lock into place a bit better. There's still some movement in the joints after being hand tightened with the hex key. Taking a usb out of the back means I need to readjust the tilt, etc. That being said, I would recommend it and buy it again. Came with instructions.

This may have been the most fun to install since I was kid with lego blocks. This bracket is universal and should fit any projector you have. It was fun to figure out how many ways i could attach the base to my projector. Instructions were a little difficult to follow, but you start to see how many combos you can make this thing work. I had my fun trying different variations of the bracket. It is not hard to figure out. Comes with a ton of hardware to make it work with whatever you have. Easy to adjust where you need it and hides cables really well. Very durable and sturdy.

This mounting bracket was a breeze to install. I especially appreciate the ability to extend it for the ideal height based on your projector screen.
