  • Excellent sturdy support arm at an excellent price
Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
This is excellent: it does the job with aplomb. The monitor is secure and where I want it and space on the desktop where the monitor's base used to be is now free. (Actually it is on a Mission-style side table, working as part of a three-monitor setup. Adjusting to the same height and orientation as the other monitors on the main desk helps greatly.) It is solid and secure, obviously well made and well thought out. It easily clamped onto an edge about three inches from the top of the work surface. Assembly was easy for somebody with my limited skills in getting things to work and stay together. When so many items online are not quite as good as they seem, this stand is better. In short, a rare find. ... show more

Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
this product is great, used it to mount a second monitor on top of mine, it was a bit short but I got it to the perfect height after adjusting it a bit. A feature I really like is the cable management. The tutorial was easy and it looks great on my setup👍

  • Great
Style: White Gas Spring Monitor Arm
Good arm. (For anyone who wants to compare, my monitor is the MSI Optix G27C4). It holds up my monitor and is easy to adjust. Set up was pretty straightforward, although I opted to not use the spacers to mount the back plate. Has a little neat wire management bonus. Screen is easy to move around and pull forward, etc,. Some disadvantages are that it can't hold the weight of my monitor when adjusting the tilt. And when lowering it down, closer to the table, it just drops to the surface (second pic attached). But other than that, its worth the price, not many other drawbacks I can notice so far. ... show more

  • Solid Mount
Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
This mount is great. It's holding my new 27" monitor right now. It's sturdy and I'm able to put it in almost any position that I need. The clamp is great and will work with almost any table or desk. Easy to install. High recommend.

  • 6 month of use review
Style: White Gas Spring Monitor Arm
Very easy to install. The cable management is great as well since it is built in and you can barely see it. Works with pretty much all standard monitors. It holds so strong to my desk that I am able to life the desk from the arm itself. Easy to adjust , but it also just stays where you want it for months on end. Other brands start to sag over time and lose its strength. Would recommend to gamers. ... show more

  • Very good
Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
Great arm. Very cost effective but punches well above it's class. I currently have a drawing tablet attached to it and it works perfectly

  • Nice design, lacking support for rated monitor weight
Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
It was semi-easy to setup after overcoming a few issues. the mounting plate for the monitor is solid and my monitor had a stand bracket protruding from it so the plate couldn't connect to the back. i ended up using spacers to offset the plate. Mounting to the desktop was easy and is pretty stable. So my monitor weighs less than 10 pounds. The arm isn't strong enough to hold it up unless it is raised pretty high. Anything lower than the halfway point it just falls. I've adjusted the screw as much as possible, but it still falls. As luck would have it, I need to position it low so it just falls every time. ... show more

  • Why have I waited so long to buy one of these? Great for up against the wall use.
Style: Black Gas Spring Monitor Arm
I have a 27 inch monitor that i use for my mini studio. I was running out of room on my desk and thought about getting a monitor stand, but was concerned that my desk was up against a wall. I looked at plenty of stands online and decided to give this one a try because of the features and it was in my budget. It came the next day and when looking at the arm, there was a yellow warning tag on it stating that it was under high pressure and to use two people to remove the strap that was holding it in a closed position. I noticed that the strap was loose and didn't appear to be under stress. I loosened the strap a little more and let it slide off while I held the arm with both hands and slowly let it open. In my case, it wasn't anything too sudden or violent and I had no problem with any sudden expansion. There wasn't' much to assemble except the bottom clamp which just hooked onto a bracket on the arm. I tried sliding the mount from the edge of my desk a could of times, but the clamp part kept coming off, So I got some duct tape to join the two pieces while I slid the bracket in place. It was easier than expected and there are 2 positions to attach the clamp to the bracket for thiner or thick desks. Mine was less than an inch and I was able to tighten it from the side of my desk instead of having to get underneath it. Since my desk is against the wall, I placed my mount to the side of where the monitor would be used. If I were to place it directly behind the monitor it would limit how far back I would be able to place my monitor. Being on the side works pretty well and allows me to move it up and down and back and forth. I use a dj mixer and found I could place it low so it looks like one unit while hiding a lot of cables, hubs and hard drives. This looks way better than the old set-up i had without the mount. Having the bracket to the side does limit some of the way to move the monitor, but I do not plan to do any major swiveling from left to right. The mount appears to be really study and has no problems supporting the monitor. There are adjustment for the tension to move the monitor up and down. There were long and short screws for a mounting plate to attach to the monitor, although there was no clear instruction on which ones to use for best results. I definitely would recommend it you're up against a wall and want something that is pretty adjustable. This has to be one of my favorite computer accessories purchased in a long time. ... show more
