  • A good lift for little money. But use your head.
Size: 1" to 3" Front + 2" Rear Lift
READ THIS FIRST: The center pegs of the rear blocks are NOT too long. I thought this at first too. But they're designed to fit with the shims, hence the extra length. If you grind them down, you won't be able to install the shims. If your pinion angle is alright and you dont need to use the shims, take a look at the block and you'll see that one end is about a 1/4in shorter than the other. Put the fat end of the shim on this side, and you'll see that it's almost even. Install the block and you'll find that the center peg now fits in the hole and the block is flush. If you then get driveline vibration from pinion angle, unbolt, flip the shim, and reinstall. Vibration should be gone. Now to the review: This is a quality product for a budget price. If you're looking to lift your truck a little and don't want to spend a thousand on a lift, this a good choice. It's very simple to install and takes about an afternoon once you figure everything out. For reference, I'm a mechanic and it took me 3hrs in the shop, with a few smoke breaks and running into a couple of issues with my truck, and that includes the alignment. The parts are all high quality, and the welds are good. I would not hesitate to buy from supreme again if I needed another level or rear blocks. Here's a few tips that might be helpful: - If you can't get your stock keys out: after unloading the keys, use a c clamp to hold the key and torsion bar towards the rear of the truck, against the crossmember. There should be about a half inch of play forward and back. Standing (or laying if you don't have use of a lift) behind the key and facing toward the front of the truck, use an impact socket that fits on the face of the torsion bar as a punch, and whack that mother with a BFH until the torsion bar is free in the hole of the key. Alternatively, use an air hammer like I did. If the stock key doesn't fall free and you can't get it out (I could not), look for the single bolts on either side of the crossmember and remove them **ONLY AFTER YOU'VE UNLOADED BOTH KEYS**. Then remove the cross member and you can drop the torsion bars and remove the stock keys. Then just reverse the steps to reinstall the crossmember. - Take your back wheels off. After supporting the rear end, pull the rear shock bolts. After installing the rear blocks and removing the rear end support jack, put the tires back on and lower the truck slowly, using the weight of the truck to line up the shock holes with the mounting holes. It's much easier and safer than trying to jack the rear up to bolt the shocks back up. Also remember to put a jack under your front end before you lower your rear diff and axle, the shift of weight could cause the truck to tip forward. - See above for the tip on the center peg of the block. - This may be obvious, but when cranking up the keys, make sure you jounce the front end (off any lift or stands) and then measure both sides. It may take a few times of relifting and adjusting the bolts and remeasuring to get the same measurement on both sides, but it's very important. Don't go off of the threads on the adjusting bolts. - Use a marking pen, white crayon, or white out to mark the adjuster bolts to make it easier to see how many turns you're making. That's all I can think of at the moment. Take your time do it correctly and you shouldn't have any problems. I hope this review helps some people, and if you're looking for a decent lift for not a lot of money, don't hesitate to get this one. ... show more

Size: 1" to 3" Front + 3" Rear Lift
went in real easy did it in a day in my driveway but im a mechanic at heart and research and development engineer by trade so im not inexperienced. but I used only hand tools and one floor jack (recommend using a lift or jack with extended height since suspension travel is huge in the rear of the rtam 1500) but had to make no modifications to the vehicle or the lift kit to make this work I have had the lift for two years now and couldn't be happier gives a great look to the truck and is also practical in the woods. no complaints. And a helpful hint, DONT FORGET TO RECHECK ALL FASTENERS AFTER DRIVING FIRST FEW TIMES. I noticed that the hex bolt for the front shocks loosened up on the bracket no biggy ... show more

  • 2005 dodge ram 1500
Size: 1" to 3" Front + 2" Rear Lift
Purchase for a 05 dodge ram 1500. Installation of the rear blocks was easy. Disappointed when I saw that the keys for the front were the exact same as OE. And the shock absorber brackets were for the front only. Save your money and just buy the blocks. The 2 inches gives a nice look
