Gasket doesn't go all the way around the door, so it will not seal as advertised. Door was warped so I had to bend the frame back into shape. Door won't open fully without catching on the frame. Good in concept, but very poor quality control and execution. Not as advertised.

The lid came broken of the weld due to careless delivery I assume but the second I reached out the seller a replacement was sent immediately. Great customer service! Item is also well made and sturdy and so far is weatherproof.

This *could* be a great product, but is fatally hampered by terrible construction a quality control. The unit I received had its hinge spot-welded almost an inch away from where it was obviously designed to be. Not only was it off-center, but it was about a half-inch too far back for the “snake” joint to work properly. You can tell someone just pried it open, bending the interior bracket outwards to do so, just to get the door to open more than 90 degrees, but it’s nowhere close to the unobstructed opening shown in the product photo. I would have given the product a second chance, but the latch is also poorly designed. Also spot-welded to the door, I chipped my 1/4” flathead driver trying to open it. My 3/8 driver did the trick, but the latch scraped off all the paint and a considerable amount of metal splinters from the bracket area. The latch itself was clearly bent into place, suggesting it’s also a victim of poor assembly and bad tolerances. Needless to say, this is going straight back in the box and back to Amazon.

Purchased two access panels. Only need one to fit in a damp area. Discovered my friend wanted an access panel for a not damp area. I gifted him the other one keeping this one. It is well made, solid, and came with a tight fitting gasket.

Very well made and straight. The only complaint is that I wish the inside lip were deeper so that I could screw it to the studs. Mine is on the outside stucco, and the stucco is about 1" so I had to angle the screws to secure the door.
