The concealer evened out the coloration in my skin. I have a couple of dark spots that virtually disappeared upon application. I had to be careful to pump out very little foundation, or I would overwhelm my skin, which by now is fairly smooth, moisturized and cannot absorb a heavy coat of foundation. I had to back off a bit or I noticed streaks in the overall finish, but that’s my own fault for over moisturizing. As long as I used a very light coat of foundation, it worked quite well. Would definitely recommend, great price and would definitely use again!

If there's a contest for the quirkiest beauty tool, this small, spongy mushroom head would undoubtedly take the crown! Let me start by saying that the 'elastic sponge head' deserves an award for its transformation! It goes from a tiny mushroom to a fluffy cloud with a sprinkle of water - though, word of advice: don't let it pop up in your salad. Remember to give it a good pre-use wash, unless you fancy a touch of forest flora on your face. Once I mastered the ritualistic dance of turning the lid, wetting the 'shroom, and performing gentle taps (I felt like I was in a potion-brewing class at Hogwarts), the magic began. And oh boy, the transformation from a lass with a face to a lass with a fabulous, almost flawless face was quite the journey! The botanical skincare ingredients made me feel like I was applying a green smoothie to my face. Tremella Extract? Centella Extract? I'm convinced they borrowed these from the potions master's cabinet. But let me tell you, my skin felt like it was sipping on a moisturizing elixir all day long. I tried the recommended makeup ritual - a sort of skin care foundation ceremony that involved stamping, patting, and more patting. My face has never felt so ceremoniously decorated! And the result? Really great, BUT!

First let me say... I love this foundation, it is literally the best I've ever used. I seriously dislike heavy coverage and this is literally so light, it feels good on your face. And it smooths out the tone, without settling into wrinkles. This does NOT cover every imperfection, but it just evens it all out somehow... without looking like you're even wearing makeup! So, my BUT... I KNOW I got the wrong shade. I ordered the buff beige, read the reviews and saw another woman's review saying it was. a perfect shade for her skin tone. She had a picture with her review, so I could see her skin was a bit darker than mine. The shade I got ended up being perfect for my friend who is so white, she burns after being in the sun for 10 minutes. She is VERY ivory toned. So either one, they just sent the wrong shade, or two, the shade sucks... I'm extremely disappointed... I haven't been able to find this type of foundation for my skin tone after tanning... I'm seriously considering ordering again to see if I get the same color. I ordered my last one from the same exact place, same shade and everything and the new one was obviously lighter... I'm not sure if the sellers are all really the same and just throw different shades all willy nilly, lol... but I've ordered from 3 different sellers, 5 different times and they were all different, even when ordering the same shade... My friend however was floored by the results and is very happy for the new makeup, lol...

Kind of cake foundation. It is pretty thick and has an odd smell. Its not terrible,just not for me. It appears to be buildable and provides a full cover. The color is almost my skin color. It just isnt not for my skin type.

Broken jar lid.

I ordered the box that had two as I really like this product. When opening the first jar the lid was broke and contents were spilled and the rubber piece that has the holes for the makeup to come through was pushed down into the make-up. I opened other box to make sure it was not damaged. This make-up has a little mushroom shape sponge to press into the rubber piece as to let the make up come in light contact with the sponge. I tried putting the sponge on the broken one but it puts to much make up on it and it puts globs all over face. It is not useable. As you can see I put them side by side in picture. Am really disappointed in broken product.

Better than the products that cost many times as much

I recently saw a similar product advertised on TV ON SALE for $78.00! My sister bought it and I tried it and Air Cushion is the same if not better. I had order this originally in natural and it was a bit light for my color but I blended it with other makeup..When I ordered the nude it was an absolutely perfect match for my skin tone. I'm close to 70 and have probably used every foundation in the world so I know what to compare it to and this is far and away my favorite. I have a bit of an age spot where my cheekbone meets my ear and with one application its completely concealed. It evens out my skin tone and is weighless. Unlike some foundation that feel like you need to apply them with a putty knife( and looks that way especially on women of a certain age) this is so effortless and leaves my skin feeling like silk. It comes with a sponge applicator but you can also use a stiff makeup brush if you prefer. Don't pay more for another product like this, Air Cushion is better and the cost can't be beat. This will be my foundation forever.

I've always used foundation and powder. I have super sensitive skin so when I find something that works good enough, I tend to stick with it until it goes out of production. Surprisingly, this complete coverage concealer was a level up for me. First, my skin improved after a couple days of use which means I found something that works even better for my sensitive skin. That was unexpected! Second, I don't use any foundation or setting powder with it which lightens the load. And this has benefited me in two ways. 1. I'm not washed out by make up. My natural color shines through. 2. I hike a lot and take long daily walks and my face can breathe more with less coats of make up. And it still looks good afterwards! This concealer evens skin tones the way CC foundation does but with a silkier feel to it which I love. It feels lighter. It doesn't hide facial lines or dark pigmented spots, at least not with a normal coat of it. But it also doesn't enhance them or look cakey. It's the best affordable product I've come across in recent years. Nude ended up being a touch too dark for me, so I changed to natural which blended perfectly. But I'll hold onto nude for when I develop next summer's tan.

Didn't work for me all that great!

I am disappointed with this foundation. Coverage is very light, I am 52 and prefer a little more coverage. Age spots covered AFTER I added concealer, even then I have to keep dipping the sponge in and putting it on my face, finally I get more of a full coverage after way too many minutes, I can put liquid foundation on or even BareMinerals powder on in less than 3 minutes (I bought natural) I am medium toned; it is a little light, but I use a natural color mineral powder and it darkened it up. I've had it only a few weeks, and it is running out, (the sponge barely has foundation on it, so I don't think there is much foundation in the container when it's new. Overall, I give it 2. It is moisturizing, but there's not enough in the container and you need to keep adding foundation to the sponge to get a fuller coverage. I compare this to a tinted moisturizer. It did not cause breakouts, the idea is great, but it doesn't cover and that's the main reason I use foundation. Forget the beautiful facial skin of the model in the picture, she can't be wearing this foundation unless it took 15 minutes to put on and look that good (and the model would have to use the whole jar to look so good). I'm glad it didn't cost a lot, or I would have gotten my money back.
