This childproof cabinet locking device is AMAZING!!!! It really does work!!!! We have soft close cabinets that have a flat surface (no handle, just a groove at the top to open). The magnetic lock is the only device we have found so far that works with the type of cabinets we have. The 3M adhesive is strong like bull!!!! We didn’t have to use the screws but it was nice that they were included. It was easy to install (didn’t have to measure or mark anything) and the magnet worked as designed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to keep their child safe while keeping their belongings organized (like the Tupperware in the kitchen drawers……our 15 month old’s favorite toys at the moment :-)

As someone with a toddler I was looking for a product that would keep him out of our cabinets while looking nice! These were perfect for this! They were really easy to put on our cabinets and they stick really well! We have been using them for a few months now and my son has yet to pull any of them off! They go on the inside of the cabinet so you can’t see them at all from the outside which is exactly what I was looking for. They are very easy to open with the magnet however I have had one or two get stuck. When they get stuck I just move the magnet back and forth over them until they eventually unlock and open

UPDATE: SELLER SENT THE MISSING UNITS PROMPTLY. Good price and the sticky tape is plenty strong. (Press lightly at first to get in position.) However, I thought I was ordering 12 but received 10. My kitty was going into the kitchen cabinet where I keep pots and pans.

These work great! Two of them are faulty and sometimes come undone without the magnet key when our 1yr old shakes the cabinet door to try to open it. Installation can be tricky but once you figure it out, it's super simple to install the rest.

First of all, these were extremely difficult to install for what I expected (and I am a handy aircraft mechanic). The template they give you to line up the two parts doesn't even line up right. So I had to install one half and guess on the other half of the mechanism. Once installed, the magnetic part to unlock it does actually work as expected. No complaints there. However, the actual deal breaker to these is that the adhesive is EXTREMELY poor and weak. My 1 year old easily opened the drawer with little force and busted the locks off the adhesive, gaining access to the drawer. I've also accidentally broken them off while opening the drawer gently with care if I didn't time the unlocking correctly. Waste of $15, choose another lock. Please note they do give you screws to use Alternatively, so I guess these would work fine with screws but it would be a dog to get past the installation part with the faulty template. Not to mention the actual material plastic these are made out of is far from impressive. Even if it stuck to its surface I'd be concerned it will break after not too much time. Fortunately you can purchase adhesive tape, so I intend on using that to reuse the broken adhesive on the busted locks. By the way, I used these on drawers and on my lower cabinets. They work better on the cabinets but I still don't trust them there. Of you do buy these, don't put anything dangerous behind the cabinets/drawers... Very disappointed. Don't waste your time and money! I wish I could get a refund.

Work well to lock cabinets doors in kitchen and built in book cases in living room. Easy to install with the tool, so no measuring needed. Comes with two magnets so I leave one out and another “reserved” in case it gets lost (by the kids!!).
