It's a shelf... it looks nice... easy enough to build... kinda heavy when in the box... overall it's good... lights are hard to keep on due to the metal bars having many bends but nothing some double sided tape didn't fix later. (Lights are more of the led lights being cheap then the shelf tho)

Loved the look and stability, but two of the "pre-drilled" holes on the shelves hadn't been drilled. Luckily I had the tools to take care of it, but someone else may not. My rating probably would have been 5 star otherwise. Post script: the seller saw my review issues, apologized, and sent me a partial refund without being asked, so I'm raising my rating to 4 stars. ... show more

I really like this shelf, it's super cute and surprisingly easy to put together! I bought it with the intention of painting it; I really like the design and it's the perfect size for my living room, but it doesn't come in colors that would match my space. While I had a few of the wooden pieces outside with paint on them, a rain storm came through and ruined them (my fault, oopsies). So, I got into contact with the sellers to see if it was possible to order any of the wood pieces separately to replace them. Instead, they sent me a brand new shelf!! Literally the best customer service I have experienced from a seller. And the shelf itself is great! If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. ... show more

This is everything I had asked for. Building it was simple. There's room for all of my books and more. And it looks good. Compared to similar products, this bookshelf has metal beams staggered along the sides that make bookends less likely to be needed. That saved me money and headache! I still used a couple bookends, but only what I already had on hand for a couple under-filled shelves. If I had any complaint, it's that it looked shorter than I had hoped it would once installed.
