These are solid despite having to be assembled. They look sharp and can hold a lot of weight. I bought hanging files and the frame provided holds them fine and you can close the lid over it no problem. The material on the outside is almost like a rope like fabric.

I was very surprised when I put the box together and hung the file to see how beautiful it looked on the shelf. It may sound strange, but it serves a purpose holding files, and looks nice in the office! A little steep for the money, but dresses up an office. I love it!

The description said the box would close with the lid even with the hanging files inserted. They do not and now that I’ve assembled the boxes, I canNOT return the purchase.

    • Fabric Cloth torn on one of the boxes
Could return for a refund, but...... I need to use these boxes now to clean the files off the floor, so I will keep them as even though the fabric is torn, it’s not bad enough that I keep the files on the floor.
