The media could not be loaded. I first purchases this shelf, to the left, in early 2021, to match my desks in my bedroom/office and I loved it. Fit perfectly matched EXACTLY to what my desks look like. So when I moved this year and now I have my own separate office I wanted a matching shelf. I went through my order history and clicked on the same shelf I ordered in the rustic brown. But the new shelf, on the right is very different. The height and width of the whole shelf is the same but the shelves are not in the same location or thickness. I had to double check and yea I ordered the same one. Photos all match my new one on this review too so now idk what I'm going to do. Each shelf individually are great but the different appearances makes me sad I really wanted them to match.

I ordered this shelf as a Father’s Day gift for my dad on June 12th. Amazon showed that it would not arrived until June 21st - 27th- that’s days after Father’s Day; I was really bummed. But it was something I knew my dad wanted so I got it anyway. To my surprise and joy, the shelf arrived Saturday June 18th! Almost a week early, and Father’s Day was the next day! Having off from work on Saturday and not Sunday, I was able to go ahead and let my dad open his gift and then help him put it together. It’s so nice, my dad absolutely loves it. Thank you for the speedy delivery! About the shelf itself- • The instructions for the bookshelf were only 4 pages long- 2 pages with printing on both sides. (Only one sentence on the first page in English, the rest were just pictures, Alphabetic letters and numbers to really easy to consolidate the parts and pieces of the bookshelf.) • All the parts were included, including, an Allen Wrench and a small wrench for putting on nuts and bolts with that fit the bookshelf pieces. My dad only used his power tools to put it together faster. If you don’t have any power tools you DO NOT need them to put this bookshelf together. • The wood of the bookshelf is sturdy but light enough that it doesn’t add a whole lot to the weight of bookshelf once it’s put together; so if you need to move it after assembly, it’s not difficult if you have someone to help you.

So, the GOOD: I definitely like this piece. It’s sturdy, very functional, quick to assemble and looks better in person than in the pictures. Now, the BAD: the actual “cardboard” shelves are a super cheap hollow material. Also one of the shelves came damaged with a golf ball sized hole on one side. I opted to not fuss with returns and assembled the unit with the damaged shelf all the way at the bottom and the damage to the rear and floor facing. So, you can’t even tell it’s that banged up at all. BUT I can’t do 5 stars because of the cheap material. All things considered, it does look awesome in my home office.

I love it! Just standing and looking at it.. it looks very expensive! The shelves are about an inch thick which makes it looks nicer. Upclose you can tell there’s some sort of vinyl on the shelves, but no one will know but you. I’d definitely recommend.

I looked all over for a bookshelf this was a reasonable price. I made sure to read all the reviews. I noticed a lot of people saying nuts, screws and holes weren’t all aligning up. So I made sure for my husband to take his time look at the screws. Here’s some hints. Make sure when you first put the side rails together they are in the correct side lining up. The front vs the back. Make sure if it’s not fitting right you rotate the rods to be flat against sliding into the other rod. So if this was the rod sliding in you was them like this (( not like this ()... the problem people were having is they did () and then put the x Frame on the back and then the nuts did tighten to the back on the rod. Once you have the rods together and make your way to the X frame be sure the first rod you slightly screw on the nuts then lay the other side down to the floor before tightening. Don’t tighten the X rod up in the air with the first. After you have both sides up and tightened then you can tighten the other rod. Take your time. Also hint don’t tighten all the X rod all the way. If you do then some on the shelves won’t line up with the holes bc it’s to tight. Wait till the end to tighten the back X rod. This was very easy to put together but if things are matching up it’s not the shelves fault you have something not right. Took us about 45 min. Also once all rods are put together and your ready to put the shelves on lay it down on its back it helps! If you plan on using the wall safety brackets don’t sue the white ones they give you buy or use your own black zip ties. Hope this was helpful. Nice buy!
