Dr. Bob from Superior Thread said the pros only use these titanium nitride coated top stitch in 70, 80, 90 and 100 and I see why. I've only ever used universal 90 and compared to this needle I might has well of put a crochet needle in my machine. The eye on these is an elongated oval unlike the tiny eye on the universals. About three times longer. It does feed the thread easier and tensions/pulls up the stitch smoother. These are worth the little extra they cost. Go ahead treat yo self. This needle along side high quality thread is a deadly combo. I got giddy sewing. You using knit fabric? Go with a ballpoint. Most everything else? Go with these. ... show more

The order for size 90 titanium coated sewing machine needles for sewing onto leather came well packaged and in stated timeframe. I also ordered size 80 same type of leather sewing needle that came in same package. They were a great value for their price. I'll definitely buy from here again.
