Ordered these this winter & waited until had used enougg to actually review. So far I've been really pleased with these. I like the Efficient, effective, easily stored packaging. It isn't wasteful of excess materials, or my storage space, & will help preserve quality & performance of the needles. I ordered HAX1, 130/705H, 15x1... In sizes: 75/11 and 100/16. They do seem to actually be Sharp points (not Universal or Ballpoint)... Which was the difficult aspect of choosing/purchasing. I will join the choir of frustrated sewists, in that would be very helpful for Organ Needle Manufacturers & their Sellers to more clearly clarify the type of needle point on the various machine needles. Making any sense of the supposed code-deciphering information out there, was ridiculously vague & nebulous (overlayed with mis-information offered by various other parties)... Even after referencing the company's own website, It felt like a crapshoot putting the order in! Both sizes are performing their intended functions in various sewing & quilting applications with great results. The 75/11 gets along with Connecting Threads' size 50 on my machines as if they were made for each other... The size100/16 has handled Coats & Clark machine quilting size 40 just as well on two very different machines. I'm pleased that after multiple needle changes; (sewing mostly muslins, shirtings & light to mid-weight cottons, & cotton-poly blends... & Multi Layers with flannel or batting) these Organ Needles have been lasting past the "8 hours of actual sewing" that some readily available brands too reliably do not exceed at all. Thus far: these Organ Needles have the kind of performance, quality, and value that could keep me loyal for decades to come. Thank you. ... show more

Needles are sometimes a nuance of each individual sewing/embroidery. machine. These were recommended in place of my Singer needles...actually i see no difference .. the sharf is identical...strength and point usage (emboidery) are as lasting as manufacturer recommended by machine. Pricing is equivalent to Singer for my machine so I tried these. I'm not overly impressed but I'm not disappointed. Its middle of the road for me...but would probably buy again for the cost factor. ... show more

I have been sewing for over 60 years, quilting for over 20 and doing machine embroidery for nearly 15 years and I have never before starting to use Organs needles have I been loyal to a single brand. At first I bought them for the excellent price but Now I won't use any other needles in my various machines. They are sturdy and long lasting so I rarely hear the dreaded dull needle 'thunk.'
