The resin is THIC coming out of the bottle. Thicker than syrup. I was making a 300ml batch and wasn't looking forward to mixing after I had to squeeze the bottle to get the resin out. It is very hard to mix and produces a lot of bubbles when you do. I wasn't that concerned about the bubbles because I have a vac chamber. My shoulders were burning when I was done. I put it in to degass andvstarted pulling a vacuum. It was like a little resin volcano starting to erupt. I always keep my hand on the relief valve so it was no big deal. I vented it several times until I found a pressure that wouldn't make it boil into my hose. I had to sit around 25inhg for a long time. It took over five minutes for 300ml to start to clear up. I dropped to 29inhg and had to vent it a couple more times. At ten minutes it was still just a bubbling away. I said f it and released the vacuum. It still had a few bubbles in it but the remainder was very clear. Everything was pretty normal after that. My wife and I got all of our pours done despite losing 20 min to the mixing/degassing. We weren't rushed by hot resin and there weren't any issues with the bubbles. That really surprised me given how it started out. The heat gun and torchessily handled them. It cured hard and clear. I've used worse resins but I won't order it again. It's just too difficult it is to mix and degass. ... show more

    • Great Resin when used correctly!!
This resin is very easy to use. After curing its rock hard. With other brand casting resins ive been able to warp them with 1 hand even months after they cured. For this resin you need to make at least 40ml at minimum. So 20A and 20B. You really need to mix these thoroughly. I mix for 10 minutes. Sticking to these steps ive had 100% of my items cure correctly and hard. The resin does start curing quickly. Id say 25 min work time after mixing so have everything ready. Bubbles are unavoidable. So i pour in a little resin take my heat gun to it, pour more,heat gun etc till your mold is full. I use an embossing gun n not the heavy duty heat guns. You have to make sure you don't add too much heat or your resin and mold will be stuck together after curing. Ive had this happen twice but i did use too much heat in my small mold. I will continue buying this resin as its the most economical for me and i always have great results, plus it accepts all kinds of pigments and dyes. The bubbles is my only downside but you can only see them in transparent pours. ... show more

I have used several types of resin. This is my favorite so far. It cures hard, few bubbles, and the smell is minimal-even after torching. I have had a difficult time finding a resin that cures hard enough when using molds-especially molds that are smaller and use less resin. I have no trouble with this one. I used a resin before this one that cured hard but the bubbles drove me crazy. I make river boards and other things. I don't have time to clean up messes caused by bubbles. I seal my wood with resin, and then I make the rivers by putting the resin part A in hot water for 5 minutes, mix with B and go to work pouring in layers. Success! I also test for a good resin by using a mold I bought on Amazin that has hearts, a key, etc. It is shallow and rather flexible mold. I used this resin and there is no bend in the heart or the key! The key is rather fragile, and I have always had bend in it. Not this time. The only thing I can say that is a possible negative, is that I noticed some smell after torching. I used this product for years... thought it was good but there are MANY issues with it including the fact i would receive bottles that leaked in transport then have to jump through hoops to get a replacement. I thought the leaking was ONLY due to damage during transport... well apparently NOT. Ive had these bottles for over a year because I have been fighting with trying to reach the company and get help to purchase ONLY part B hardner bottles because i got so many uneven bottles that somehow over the years I ended up with 3 bottles of resin and no hardner. (You only see 2 of those resin bottles in the photo because 3 weeks ago i went to clean and dust the area to find something had leaked ALL OVER and after throughly cleaning the area and testing each bottle sitting on dry paper towels to find the culprit i found a full UNOPENED bottle of resin was leaking somehow. All other bottles seemed good so tossed the leaking one layered my shelf with paper towel and today I found this! Yet ANOTHER of their bottles are leaking!) I have been TRYING to reach the company to make thus purchase of ONLY hardner and THEY DONT ANSWER the phone number on their website is for a different place NOT THEIRS the email address doesnt get a response and trying via fb messenger or their AI messenger does NOTHING. Got a message back via amazon help but they were LESS than helpful and not worth the time and aggravation. Now i am just tossing all the bottles just to avoid having to clean this up! (Huggies baby wipes works great for this incase you needed that tidbit). Oh and their resin when mixed completely yellows FAST even when NOT in sunlight. Also some pieces that have been in sunlight have softened and warped. EXTREME RESIN is a rip off and not worth it... this is from a LONG TIME (5+ years) User. ... show more

    • Lousy customer service
The product comes with absolutely NO instructions other than mix equal parts 1:1 and part a into b. I called for help with the mixing for a very large countertop and got no response from the company. Ended up wasting over a gallon because it set up in about 20 minutes. I looked at the website and it was helpful but in terms of customer service clearly they dont give a crapt once they have your money. I bought 3 gallon and it should have done my whole kitchen.. But because it set up too fast .. I wasted a gallon and a half and I wasted $130.00 ... show more
